Attention: The Gap is now making a cheaper version of the Sigerson Morrison heeled flip flop (even though theirs have a wedge instead of the kitten heel). GET EXCITED. $14.50 for these cutey little shoes:

That happened to me with Steve Madden shoes in high school. Of course since they are crap shoes it's not a big surprise.

I wore these for my wedding last September only in red:

on me:

I felt slightly harlot-y (harlotish??) wearing sparkly red shoes, but I loved 'em! I can't wait until it gets warm to wear them again.

Since I'm po' I usually buy my "good" shoes at TJ Maxx or at Von Maur clearance sales. Though, hubby did take out an inordinate amount of $$$ last weekend for a friends' bachelor party, maybe I can justify a new pair of good shoes!

I love Easy Spirit for dress shoes (though I have a pair of Hush Puppies black low heel shoes that are great!), Grasshoppers for casual shoes and Reebok and Nike for sneakers. A lot of my friends swear by New Balance sneakers and I did see some on clearance...but none in my size! I would like to try them someday. I also have a pair of K-Swiss orienteering shoes I got in 1994 that I still wear quite a bit. they rock! (And the price was right...free! )

I can't wear shoes with the real pointy toes because I get the worst blisters. Many dress shoes will also give me blisters on the top of my foot and on my heel. It's annoying.

So I could get these beauties from Tod's...

Oh, umm excuse me. I don't have a particular favorite brand of shoes. If they are cute, there are on my feet.

Sign me up! I wear flip flops from the first time it's warm enough to wear them until sometime in Oct/Nov when it's really too cold to wear them any more... The other day I wore some over to a friend's apartment (only in the next building over!!!) and everyone acted like I was crazy! (Granted, it WAS snowing...but I didn't feel like putting on anything else!)

Thats me!! When I used to work at American Eagle, they told us we couldn't wear flip flops/open toed shoes past December. It used to make me so mad...Feb. 1st always used to be the start up day again. and me and this other guy used to have countdowns until the day we could wear flip flops again...

but I have gotten better, now that i'm older. I have been wearing boots more this winter, but I still don't deny my flip flops some love.

hey, has anyone seen flip flop necklaces? We love our flip flops so much we wear flip flops pendants! They were/are big out here (well with my friends, at least). I got mine for my 21st from my grandma.

my grandma got mine from Na Hoku (a hawaiian jewelry company) but most my friends got random ones

ETA: I tried to post the pic of my pendant, but it didn't work. so here is the link to the website. mine is a white gold pendant:
