In the education program you can't really have a "minor".
So, my whole deal is Middle Childhood Education w/a concentration in Social Studies and Language Arts. But I am thinking about grabbing another concentration, probably mathematics.

I definitely didn't have Kennedy, I had a young (wonderful!) guy for Child Psyc... And I think maybe I had Madsen for Abnormal Psyc but I'm not positive.

My school started granting Minors the year after I graduated. Wonderful. If we had been allowed minors I would have racked it up in Math, Chem, and Bio.

Sarah~ what time period?
My major is Industrial chemistry, and my minor is a complete 180 from chem---it's history. Haven't decided if I'll double major and change it to a major yet or not. And, I don't think it will help me with what I want to do in the future--I'm interested about 500 to 1800 AD. :P *haha*

I'm also currently working on an MS in Teaching in History as well as an MA in Theology. Basically I feel the grad certificate is a 'minor' to the masters in history - and I plan on using all my degrees to teach religion in the Catholic schools.

Communications.
I should have just double majored in that however as my major required a certain number of communication classes and I had to take an additional 15 credit hours for my minor...I think I had 30 credit hours of communication altogether!

My dad used to tell people that I majored in Panhellenic Studies, and minored in IFC.
Actually, I majored in English & Psychology (with an Early Childhood Certification), and minored in Religious Studies.

Middle Childhood Education? I don't think I've ever heard of this term. Does that refer to teaching kids at the elementary level or the middle school level?

Middle school. Elementary ed is usually referred to as that, and then there's also early childhood education.
And back on topic...
I'm earning minors in history and international affairs with no extra coursework. I think I'm like one class short of a CS minor but I cannot take any more coursework in that or something will explode.
Also, how on earth do you minor at the graduate level? I've never heard of this. What do you do, write half a disseration?
