As another FSU alum I just wanted to echo that ZTA and PnguinTrax said....The smaller chapter has an incredible sisterhood...the sisters and alums are very dedicated to the ideals of their organization. Their numbers are actually up a bit from when I graduated in 2001 as just an informal FYI.
This being said, this thread makes me feel bad for expressing the success of my chapter. My chapter did great this year (so I've heard) and even since I've graduated the chapter has really raised the standard further.
