John Ritter was so funny on Three's Company. He was a very talented performer. I didn't recognize him in the movie "Sling Blade" when I first saw it. I only watched 8 Simple Rules... a few times, but it every time he cracked me up. It is just really sad and shocking that he died from a previously undiagnosed heart condition. I couldn't believe the news this morning when I heard it on GMA.
PM Mama: Johnny Cash died today also.

Oh no. This is horrible. And he died doing something he loved. He was a great actor. He was great at comedy. He was also great at more serious dramatic roles too. I remember one thing where he was an abusive husband and father who was alcholic so his family left him and he tried to kill himself but then I think tried to get his life back together and actully did it. One of those made for tv movies. He was awesome. Why do all the talented people have to die.
Find solace though, I know its sad. He's in a better place now, I guess Fiji Chapter Eternal or whatever. He also died doing something he loved to do and was great at.

I heard on Fox's Good Day Live that his youngest daughter Stella's birthday is September 11th, which is sad enough, but to also have her father die the same day......what a sad sad birthday.

This is the saddest thing today. Three's Company was the best show ever!!! And then he was Ben's Dad on Felicity, and his stint on Ally McBeal! we should all toast Jack Tripper tonight

E T Tonite had a special devoted mostly to John Ritter and I truely sat and cried.
He was a very special person in the truest form of life.
He was the son Of Tex Ritter, who was not only a freind of Wyatt Earp but one of his Pall Bearers, it was said He Cried.
To His Family and to His FGD Brothers, I to Weep for the lose!

I got up to go to the bathroom half asleep and my mom told me that John Ritter and Johnny Cash had died. I was absolutely stunned. I grew up watching him every day after school, my line up was Different Strokes, The Facts of Life, Three's Company, and Family Ties. It's really scary that you can't detect the heart problem he had. His birthday would have been next Wednesday.

I heard that Stella turned 5 yesterday...what a tragedy for such a young child!
Henry Winkler was supposed to show up for taping that episode.
