I have the answer to the question
The song is called "II Hype". The group is called "Entouch". Thanks to Spr99_Diva lyrics I remembered that I have that song on DJ Juice's Vol. 39 Mix CD. I remember because it fades right into Jade's "Don't Walk Away" (which I used to LOVE!!!). So after searching for a list of the songs on that CD, I found the answer!! Yes, I'm home alone and bored. Here is a link on MSN: Entouch. You can listen to the song there.
The album came out in'89.
Here is the group:
