To the best of my knowledge, I am the only member of my graduating class of nearly 500 who pledged.
I actually asked the question once on Classmates.com and not no responses at all.

I graduated with 450 people so I'm sure there's more than these, and some of these are from the class before mine, but I know we had:
- DZ
- SAE
- PBF
- FKT
- SFE
- TKE
- ZTA
The Phi Tau is an old boyfriend of mine who is now president of his chapter, the TKE and I went to the same college...we also have a TON of people in locals at all the state schools.

Quite a few of my HS friends went Greek...
I attended an integrated, inner-city high school.
All my HS c/o '91 class officers went greek:
Class President/Valedictorian: Alpha Phi
Class VP/Salutatorian: Alpha Delta Phi (and this was a black guy)
Class Secretary: Alpha Kappa Alpha
Class Treasurer: Delta Sigma Theta
I don't know if anyone else in my senior class went greek, but I doubt it b/c a LOT of my classmates immediately after high school got married (and divorced) and/or had kids, joined the military or the workforce, or attended the local community college part time. Still some went to universities that had no Greek system.
In short, very few of my classmates went the traditional 4-year college route.
However, I know of some classmates outside my graduating class who became greek:
A c/o '89 member became an Alpha Phi Alpha, and a fellow girl in that class who I thought was really fine became an Alpha Angel (ex-auxiliary group of Alpha Phi Alpha)
A c/o '90 member became an Alpha Delta Pi (she was black)
The class president of the c/o '92 pledged AKA at Miami of Ohio
A member of the c/o '93 pledged Kappa Alpha Psi at Wittenburg.
As far as responses I get when they find out I went Greek, they are largely that of an apathetic nature.

Most of the kids in my high school didn't go to college, but of those that did, I only know of one who went Greek: Kappa Beta Gamma.

Ummm majority of my closer friends from high school were nerdy christians, so no, none of them went Greek. My more distant friends, on the other hand, several went Greek...Chi Omega, AKA, ZTA, Delta, DTD are a few that comes to mind.

Not a lot of people that I graduated with even went to college, and I can't think of many people I knew that went Greek, but here's the lowdown:
A longtime friend that graduated before me went Gamma Phi at CSULB (didn't know until my junior year of school though!)
Three guys I knew but weren't close to went KA at UCR
A guy I'd know for YEARS went Beta Theta Pi at UCR
A friend I made senior year of high school through dance (although she went to another school) ended up taking a bid from Gamma Phi the day after I did, and she didn't know I had even rushed! We're still close to this day, both as alums.
Best friend went ADPi at CSUSB
A few acquaintances went AXO at UCR, and another Alpha Phi at CSUSB
A guy I was infatuated with for years went Sig Ep at CSUSB
A friend I'd known since 4th grade but wasn't very close to went Gamma Phi at UCR last year and we graduated together
All I can think of for now...

PSK480-
I went to Allegheny and actually one of my closest sisters practically lives up at the house! I wonder who you know...
Anyways I went to a small private school and I'm certain more of my graduating class went greek than those I know about. Its funny because in my close group of friends we never thought any of us would go greek but we all ended up joining.
I went ADPi
2 friends went Gamma Phi Beta at Union
1 friend a TriDelt at CMU
1 friend Chi Omega
and another one of my friends went greek but I cant remember his GLO...

None of my friends went Greek but a lot of associates did. Like this guy named Avi who actually created his own fraternity at his school called Sigma Alpha Mu (their nickname is Sammie). . .at least that's what I think he said. . .then there is this guy named James who went Delta Tau Delta. . . a girl named Jamie who joined a Jewish sorority on my campuse but I forget the name. . . . And I'm sure there are others but I don't know about them yet.

Pretty much everyone (that I know of from my era, that is) from my high school who went to Clarion went Greek - 2 Theta Chis, 2 Zetas and a Tri Sig.
My closest high school friends didn't go to college. The only one I can think of in my class was a TKE little sister at I think St Francis. We had a ton of kids go to Penn State, but as far as I know none of them went Greek.

In my graduation class there was only 60. And I think I might the only one that went greek or one of a handful. I know 2 girls in the grade ahead of me, that went greek, don't know the names though and 2 sisters in grades below me went AChiO at the school I went to.

I had three close friends in high school and lots of other acquaintances. Of my three best friends, I was the only one who went greek. One of them wanted to pledge Sigma Kappa at her school but she didn't have the grades. I'm not sure where a lot of other people went, though.
