Thank you all for the well wishes. I am ready to get this show on the road.
SDTSarah- We don't have a Kohl's but if I would have thought about it earlier, I looked at their website and they have some things on clearance. I could have gotten a dress from there. Dang!!

Sweetie, don't worry about the clothing, it's only icing on the cake. What's most important is to be yourself, show what a wonderful person you are, and have fun. You will find the sorority that you feel at home with and will accept you for who you are not what clothes you wear. Just relax and have fun

Icing on the cake...I love it! So true too. Check out Ross too if you're really sure you need a new outfit, very cheap stuff and a little searching the racks can sometimes bring you a reward!! Sounds like you don't though!

I live near UCF and hear good things about greek life there. In fact I was on Aloma and 436 this morning and was going to drive down to campus for a little self tour but decided to go home. Anyway, Have a great time and best of luck!

You should have stopped by. We have a very nice campus and our houses are gorgeous.

ADPi~Ally and ZTAMich Thanks for that. I know clothing really isn't that important, but I want to look good so that I feel good about myself and feel free to be who I am.

I just got back from the mall. I went to Dillard's to look at the dresses that they have on sale since I only have a limited amount to spend. I have budgeted for if I get into a house. So I found the perfect dress. It was only $25 and looks awesome on me. It is black with red and white stripes randomly all over it. I am so happy. I will be wearing it for pref night. Now I really can't wait!!

We have Ross too. I just stopped by the mall on my way home from stopping by my work. Otherwise I probably would have gone there. It was lucky that I found the dress. Thank you for the well wishes.

I depend on Dillards! It's the only "nice" department store we have in town, so I shop there when I can't afford to go to Kansas City or something. Damn this town!

My honey got a little antsy with me a couple weekends ago when we were in St. Louis. I saw a Dillard's & made him stop: "It's not like it's Neiman-Marcus or anything!" "Yes, but it's Dillard's!"

Men don't understand the concept of "must visit out of town stores!"!!

Dillards is great. I never begin my shopping trips at Dillards, but I ALWAYS manage to wind up there...usually buying way too much

Same here! And after shopping those 15 million other stores and not finding what I want, I ALWAYS seem to find it at Dillards! I guess I should just start out and end there!

Maybe we can convince them to come fill the soon-to-be Lord & Taylor hole. My little went to a Dillard's while she was in TX and she couldn't stop raving about it.
