Watching Nip/Tuck has gotten me started thinking about it.
What I would like:
Bigger breasts
More symmetrical face
Mole removed from beneath my nose
Liposuction
What I will probably do:
Work out like crazy and learn to love myself.
There's a line from Nip/Tuck that kinda stuck with me.
Chris: "We help women feel better about their bodies."
Sean: "We help women externalize the hate they feel towards their bodies."

I'd get a boob job probably. That and lipo! HA! I don't mind my chest really because I know someday if I have kids it'll get bigger...but yet it'd be nice to have them look good first and stay put later in life.

With my luck, if I had my face lifted...they'd drop it.

Oh, I forgot. Face lift as a 55th birthday present to myself. From the looks of the women on both sides of my family, I don't know if I'll need it. But I'll have one.

I heard the other day on the news that kids were getting plastic surgery instead of birthday and christmas presents. This one girl got plastic surgery instead of going on spring break. are you serious? spring break is the best why would you ever pass that up? some people just have a lot to learn.

KKC, by all means watch Nip/Tuck for the entertainment value (and to gape at Sexy Demon Boy ). It's definitely a fun show to watch! But remember that the writers are in there exploiting every plastic surgery stereotype you can imagine (hot doc who sleeps with patients, doc who hates his job, patients with unrealistic goals...pretty much the whole show!).
It's kind of like a Beverly Hills 90210 look at the world of plastic surgery - if they showed normal family men without angst who have no desire to boink their patients or perform surgery on their random hook-ups, the show would be boring and no one would watch it!

Maybe they're just being practical. Spring break is a week, but plastic surgery results are permanent or at least last a long time. Besides, she can go on spring break next year with her cute new nose, feeling good about herself, and having a great time!

I don't know if this counts as plastic surgery, but I really need LASICK. My eyes are horrible. I'm sick of contacts and glasses. I want 20/20 vision!

I would never get a boob job or my nose fixed or anything... cuz in the end I would still find another body part to fixate my dislike on... I think liposuction is pointless if you don't adjust your eating habits and exercise to keep the fat off... otherwise you'll just end up getting it right back if you stick to the same old eating habits... I'm not to worried about the way I look... if I want to change it that much I'll stick to working out and eating right!!!!

I'm not big on plastic surgery but I would like to get it on my nose because I have a deviated septum and iwll have to have surgery on it anyway.

I doubt I'd ever do it, but probably lipo or a tummy tuck. Actually, my biggest problems are my stretch marks and the little acne scars on my face. Still, nothing that drives me crazy. Since I've started losing weight, I've really been amazed at how much better I feel about myself. Sad, but true.

And this is the exact reason that I don't think I'd ever get plastic surgery -- no matter what I look like, I will always find something else to hate about my body. For me, at least, the hate I have towards my body is all psychological and even I fix the places I hate most, I'll find something else to fixate on. Plastic surgery would only repair the symptoms, not the cause.
I think for me, working out fixes way more than plastic surgery would.
But to answer the question . . . if I was going to get plastic surgery, and only on one part of my body, I'd get lipo on my thighs. Even when I'm at my skinniest, I hate how my thighs look.
