Virginia has so many choices for plates that I'd go dizzy picking one. My mom had the GMU plate on the solara with MEGSKR on it because she was planning on giving it to me, but that fell through. Once I get my Mazda6s I'm getting 6Y ANGEL on my plates (but it's going to be registered in TN like my Nissan is). My ex's dad's Impala SS has C-YA AMF on his plate, which stands for 'See Ya, Adios Mother F***er' but he told the people when he ordered it that it means "Adios My Friend"

I was going to get CVRBABE (caverbabe), but I was afraid people would think I was stuck-up and saying I was a cover model!
Two of my favorite plates I've seen were on new Beetles:
FEATURE
BAH HUM

I hate the new Ohio Plates!!! They look HORRIBLE on cars that are any color other than red white or blue!
Mine would be:
IM PINK
KGD001
KapGamD
RIOKGD1

ok... question about the ohio plates. i've heard that if you don't have them already, the old plates have to be replaced this year. does anyone know if that's true?
i don't know what i'd put on vanity plates, but i wish i could have kept the original plates on my car. my car is a (VERY low mileage) 93, the plates ended in 093, and I graduated hs in 1993.

ha!! Funny you should mention that--- I live in Missouri-- my family however bleeds crimson and blue---- we joked (decided the new car would get keyed, as the plate probably wouldn't get approved) we were going to get the MU plate(the one with the tiger)-- and for the letters "SUX"
So instead we filled out the papers with the following choices-- (MO allows 6 letters and one space or hypen)....
RK-CHLK
RKCHLK
FRK SHO
GO JHOX
and the last 2 I cannot remember-- but they were KU related!!!!
--yes the 3rd choice is Freak Show-- I really wanted this-- although I really like the first choice. I am sure we would get much unwanted attention with the FRK SHO.

Those Ohio Bi-Centennial plates are a bit much! But it does remind me that 2004 (next year) is Ohio University's Bi-Centennial. Wish I could have OU Bi-Centennial plates on my car!

My mom has always wanted to get a UF vanity plate that says IM4UGA, but she decided she didn't want to give any money to UF.
Personally, I like the vanity plates that Florida offers, but I wouldn't want to customize it. I just like the plate to match the car

If I ever get a VW Beetle, I want a plate to say:
TLETBY (Teletubby)
That's what I think those cute cars look like.

When I had to get a new plate for my car, I was so excited, because the one I was issued had SK in it. But I'm not driving that car anymore, so oh well. If I could get custom plates I'd get SIG KAP
SK WSU
SIGMA K
Or just get the collegiate plates for WSU

I have a personalized lisence plate. I got it when I was 16, so unfortunately it is not GLO related, but I still like it.
"99 CIVIC"
I was really crazy about cars and it was all hooked up, but now its just regular. everybody comments on how cute it is though.

As for the design, well, anything other than our gross plain yellow Jersey plates.

HOW TRUE!!!! I wish we could return to the days of the strange blue/teal color. At least it was unique. When I can afford one, I fully intend to get either the conserve wildlife, or shore to please plates, or something fun.
I don't know what I would get on my Jersey plates, but should I ever move out of state:
JERSEY GIRL
(or JRZ GIRL, JERSEY GRL, etc etc etc)

Too bad you can only have 5 letters on the UF plates....
If I ever get a car, I want to get a UF license plate, on the condition they change back to the old UF logo design. After we won the 96 football nat'l championship, they changed the UF plate to a commemorative plate. It was nice 6 years ago, but it's really time to give it up, and go back to a logo plate like the rest of the schools.
