Speaking of which, I'm going to a Prince Charming's Ball in two weeks. Think I can get away with wearing the tiara? It's not like I get a lot of use out of it...

I totally think you should -- I will learn how to start a chat -- I have only been invited to join already existing ones -- so we can do a nationwide Panhel Pageant party -- we can diss & cheer on AIM!!! OMG -- that would be so much fun!!

Making a long story short:
When I was a little girl, our neighborhood was brand new, and we had a Clam Bake every fall. It would always fall on the Saturday of Miss America, which was also my birthday weekend. I was about 16 before I realized that this was not all planned for my birthday! I am such a geek!
I was originally going to the Ball as a "wench" but since Mr. honeychile won't be there, I best not dress as a wench!
I am SO looking forward to watching Miss America with y'all!!!!!

now someone has to tell me how to start a chat!
And How do I find everyone's AIM handle?
Cream -- I just LOVE the sash idea!! I think I will make one for everyone who comes with various Miss blah blah blah names and they can just pick their own --
When I lived in the Florida panhandle - in Mary Esther, adjacent to Ft Walton Beach - I recall there was a beauty pageant every year for the -- get this -- coveted Miss Mullet title!! And I am not talking about that hairdo Joe Dirt has!!! LOL!

I was thinking....
....I could have funny "Miss so and so" titles on each sash -- what are some funny ideas y'all???? (Besides Miss Mullet!)
All invitees will be sorority alums.....

I saw a "Miss Margaritaville" at the Jimmy Buffett concert. She was in a bikini--outside in Feb.--and had a tiara and sash. She and her 1st runner-up friend walked around before the concert, getting their picture taken with all the young guys.

Back in the early days of television (joke) when I did shows at the Ohio State Fair, we used to joke that we were going to interview Miss Butterfat.

Could she possibly be a sister of mine? Cele, I think you should give out a "Miss Manners" (somebody like honeychile would be the perfect recipient) and then be sassy - Miss Margarita, Miss Unpunctuality, etc.
