When she's got make up on she's sorta cute but without she'd be blah.

She performed here a few weeks ago. I'm told she does a cover of Green Day's Basket Case. Do I hear Billy Joe Armstrong banging his head against a wall?

Why does it matter? Green Day was a packaged and commercially polished as Avril is or Sum 41 or Linkin Park or (the worst) Limp Biskit. I have very little faith in the original artistic talent or integrity of any of these "MTV Artists"; while the marketing packaging that is on MuchMusic (Canada's watereddown MTV) is bad the crap that is aired on MTV is pathetic in it's blatant commercialism.

Yes, she did sing this song AND did a really good job!! She also did a little "hip hop" jam session and sang one of eminem's songs from 8mile, also another song can't remember. When she sang "I'm With You" everyone down on the floor (which was open, no seats) was throwing bracelets, wrist bands, belts, etc. on stage. Avril kept laughing and it just killed the song.

Most of the people at the concert were 13 year olds in neck ties and vans. The screaming fans, oh gosh, the screaming. Surprisingly, Avril really does have a good voice. She played the guitar for two songs, I think, and ran across the stage throughout the other songs. The crowd seemed to love it though. Overall, the concert was surprisingly pretty good.

I think she's okay but I also think she'll fade in the mix with such singers as Nelly Furtado and Natalie Imbrulia

She annoys me just because she does seem so fake and packaged, and also appears very ungrateful toward everyone who came before her. But, whatever, the girl can sing... I do like "Complicated."
