When Jewel's first CD came out I was all for it. I hadn't really listened to folk before but it was soothing and mellow. It just relaxed me and the words were a little strange somtimes but they carried a sweet message.

As for her recent image change...I think its fine to shake up things every now and then...just so long as you remember what you started with.

Also that one video where she wiggles out of the dress (one of her first ones) was extremely hot too.
