Kodaka, I too wanted to see a show while I was in Vegas, but it was too expensive. However, I will loosen up the budget so that I can go with you.

I don't think Soror Adivine08 is going to go.
I'm not trippin' cause I can roll out solo if I have to.... .
I just refuse to go to Vegas again without seeing "O" this time .

It took me a while to get that great deal. I saw some for a little over $200, but they went down after that. Couldn't pass it up.

My travel's set. I'll be riding up with a couple of sorors on Wednesday morning, and riding back with one of my LS, her mom and her goddaughter on Sunday afternoon. What a relief.
It was impossible to get a decent-priced flight out of Vegas back to San Diego on Sunday afternoon or evening. Besides, in a car, you can get more stuff, more suitcases.

I am staying at the Hilton Grand Vacations. I really wanted to stay at the Paris, just to be closer, but I got a great villa at a good rate.

Interesting Development...
Well, I was planning to share a room with 2 Sorors in my grad chapter; one is the grad advisor to our undergrad chapter. It seems the undergrads have no money for a room, so 2 of them will be bunking with us (I suppose we will have to have a rollaway bed or something). How could I say no? I remember going to regionals and staying in a room with 6 Sorors as an undergrad and that $20 that I had to contribute seemed like a lot at the time.
So, our room is going to be very "cozy." Remind me to pack an extra mirror (glad my hair is low maintenance).
Soror Steeltrap: so glad you were able to make transportation arrangements. I'm looking forward to meeting you at the conference - along with everyone else.
BTW, when and where do you all want to meet?

I think those would work. Will anyone have a car? I won't, but I really want to go to the outlets.

Outlets
Have you checked with the hotel? Maybe they have shuttles. I'll check the Paris.

Is someone planning an "official" GC gathering? OR are you all planning to meet somewhere? I know there is another gathering going on. Is anyone attending that one?
I'm not at Bally's anymore. My roomie wanted to stay at the Boardwalk across from Paris and Ballys.
No rental. A chapter soror said she may rent one to get to the outlets. If she does, I'm in the car. LOL
Question about the "Banquet" on Saturday. Are we treating this as a formal?

Banquet Dress
Well, I called HQ and they said the banquet was relatively dressy, but not necessarily a "formal" occasion. The response was kind of like, "However you feel like dressing." She also said to pack a white dress as a precaution.
