The Ring- the beginning of the movie and the last half hour/15 minutes especially

Seven- never been able to watch straight through to the end, so to this day i don't know what happened at the end

What Lies Beneath

It- i thought i would be ok 'cause i read the book first, but that ended up making me even more scared

The Haunting- i've never seen the original but i was terrified during the new one

The Others- the only part that really scared me was when she looked like an old lady and when Mrs. Mills Mr. Tuttle and Lydia look like they're about to walk through the door

The Ring seems to be the big thriller here..I agree...It was the first movie that actually had me terrified.

As for a couple other scary moments....Y'all gon think I'm a dork, but Joyride got me crazy.. I hate semi's anyways, and hearing that dude being all like "Caaaandy Cane" I couldn't drive home that night, I was like NOPE! And at the end, how he gets away...PSYCHO!!

Another not very scarey movie that rubbed me the wrong way: JEEPERS CREEPERS!!!! That movie had me goin until ol' boy turned into like a mosquito or whatever...But before that it was creepy...Esp. since I got lost in the country last year with one of my friends and there was NO ONE anywhere, and then all of a sudden this truck came barrelling up behind me and would't pass us...I even slowed way down and pulled over....I was like OMG...Finally I turned and he was gone, but it was scary!

Oooh, I forgot about the Shining. The whole movie is pretty creepy (I was just at the Stanley Hotel, which inspired the book, and got creeped out even being in there) but there is ONE scene that freaks me out to no end. The kid is in the hallway of the hotel, and he looks into a room and there is something going on in there. A man in either a dog or bunny (I can't remember exactly because I haven't seen it for a long time) costume is standing there and they only show it briefly, but he turns and looks and it really terrifies me.

The Sixth Sense-Whenever the little boy recanted the events of those who were deceased.

Poltergeist-( I saw it when I was 10 or so at the theater) The scene where it rained and the tree sucked up the little brother.
Also, the scene where CarolAnn was taken away in the closet. To this day, my closet doors MUST remain closed.

Mind you, when we got home from the theater it rained severely that night. There was this big pine tree in front of my bedroom window. I was frightened that night to say the least.

Red Dragon too many scenes there to name

The Ring - that chicks corpse in the closet, and the last 30 mins. or so.

Children of the Corn -- ok even this movie is superold, it still freaks me out. Last time I watched it I was probably 7 or 8.. my older sister just *loved* to watch it all the time in the living room, because she knew it scared me and I'd have to pass through the living room eventually

AHHHHH! I totally forgot about that movie. I almost wet my pants the first time I saw it b/c it scared me so much. Rusty Nail's voice is just SO creepy. After I saw it for the first time my roommates boyfriend kept calling my cell phone going "Caaaaaaaaaaandy Cane" oh Lord, it scared me!

Another movie that really wasn't supposed to be scary but it did scare me was Unbreakable w/ Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson. The only scary part was when bruce was in the train station and he'd brush by all these people and he could then see what horrible things they had been doing. That creeped the hell out of me!!! Yuck.

I totally agree. I HATE clowns, and "IT" is probably the scariest movie i've ever seen. I still remember scenes from the movie that scare the crap out of me

-The part when the little boy is playing with the sailboat in the street, and the clown is in the sewer drain and eats him (screwed me up, I walked home from elementary school)

-The part where the clown's face appears in the moon (I think about that scene everytime I see a full moon)

There's also a "Nightmare on Elm St." movie where this guy is lying in bed and the middle of his bed falls out and turns into a portal to hell. I saw it when I was 9, and slept on the edge of the bed for weeks.

The part in the Blair Witch when something starts to shake their tent... after I saw that movie, I had to drive my friend home... and she lived in a small wooded area! Scary!

And in The Ring -- well, everything in The Ring scarred me, but what freaked me out the most was near the end when Samara climbed out of the TV after Noah and she was a good 10 feet away from him and then suddenly BAM she was right in front of him. That still scares the crap out of me, especially at night... I imagine her climing out of my TV and then BAM have her be right in front of me!!!

I don't do horror/scary movie. I just plain ole don't watch them.
Let me tell ya my little sorry.....It was saturday afternoon, and was flipped through the channels, Freddy kruger guy was on. Watched liked 10 minutes of it, then changed it. That night, I dreamed he was chasing me and my older sister through the house and we had to hide under the porch, then i woke up. OR
My friend Rosalie and I went to the see the orginal Scream, we were like we can handle this, oh no, we didn't last 15 minutes. We scream and cover our eyes. Yeah pathetic, but told ya don't like horror movies.

I forgot about What Lies Beneath- that movie scared me as well

I will not even watch Candyman because I am already terrified about the urban legend behind it. I heard about it in 2nd grade, and to this day, I cannot be in the dark with a mirror in the room. it really scares me

I just saw the movie "Jacob's Ladder" for the first time last night. That entire movie scared the crap out of me, it is by FAR the most disturbing scary movie I have ever seen. Don't see it unless you want nightmares!

I hate scary movies. But I watched "Poltergeist" several times on TV, and nothing really bothered me, except when that evil clown doll tried to strangle the little boy. Clowns = scary.
