Her songs arent exactly radio friendly. it is just not for pop radio. however, i work at starbucks and half the album gets tons of playing time there. I like the album. You do have to be in the mood for that kind of music. it isnt for everyone.

Dude I am totally with you, I can't stand her either. And the first time at the Grammy's she won everything, now what does she have to look forward to. Kind of sucks if you ask me.....oh well.
The Grammy's definately were a major let down this year, except of course for the performance by the all powerful ever-popular band *NSYNC (not that I am biased or anything haha)

He also has more talent than 90% of the entertainers they had last night. I know you said you liked N'SYNC, but I have to say "OUCH". I felt something run up my spine on some of their harmony...

AngelPhiSig-Why does everyone think hes 16, his name is John Mayer and he is 25.
Because that's what they said...just didn't know they were trying to "make a funny"!
...and his response of "I'll try to grow into it (award)..." lent credence to the misunderstanding.

I'm still waiting for the greatest band that ever lived, Wang Chung, to get lifetime achievement award (another word for we didn't have the balls to give you the award when you should have won it, so we give it to you when you become legendary)

I haven't read this whole thread, but I ge the impression that it is sort of anti-Norah. Shame on you all!
She is a beautiful women full of talent and grace, and she is great because she is unique! And, the daughter of reknowned Ravi Shankar, to boot!

I'm not a fan of Norah Jones, but I don't hate her. She's okay. I think that Bruce Springsteen was robbed.

The entire Grammy show was either mediocre (N Sync, John Mayer- I do NOT get the fuss) or BORING (NORAH JONES, I like her album, it's okay but damn does she put me to sleep)
THe only things that stuck out to me:
Faith Hill: hurt my ears
Aretha: why did I feel like any minute she was going to say bibbity bobbity boo?
Bee Gee tribute: I was so moved when Maurice Gibb's son came on. That was sooo sad.
THE CLASH TRIBUTE ROCKED
EMINEM AND THE ROOTS KILLED IT.
Everything else was just blah.
