What about the civillians who are going to places such as Iraq for the contracting, truck driving, etc jobs for $100,000 tax free? I have a LS who has been there since February. It's the Haliburton workers...
Anyway, that guy that's being held hostage from Mississippi was one of the workers. I read in the paper today that a few bodies have been found and they were Haliburton workers.
I'm sorry (like I told my LS when she got over there after she told me that I could "do it") I'd rather stay over here broke than over there for some tax free money.
She/workers are allowed to come home every 3 months for 2 weeks. She called me Friday saying she will be home next month.
IMO, it's not worth it.

) But I have a problem with folks that enlist in the military, gain all the benefits, then complain when they are called to go to war. I mean if you don't want to go to war, don't join the military! It is kinda a part of the job description. You can't get something in this world for nothing... I am VERY supportive of the United States military...whether I agree with everything this country does or not....but it just really makes my skin crawl when people are crying about the troops this and the troops that.....
