Well if this is the boy who's sexual organ extends into a right angle . . . you might want to think about an iron so he can straighten it .
Or you can tell him what kind of gift you gave him by not telling all your sisters! Although you might want to avoid mentioning that you just told 20,000 people on here lol.

I've been dating this guy for a while who thinks it's a LOT more serious than I do. He's been talking about buying me a cell phone. Holy crap. I was just going to buy him a case of beer and a new eyebrow ring! Now I think I'm going to upgrade and get him a metal flask with his name and Lambda Chi Alpha engraved on it and maybe some other little thing.
What do you think? Cool gift?

LOL, its a good gift though . . . Just don't let the other ladies on here bust on you for encouraging drinking involving letters.
But seriously next time you are down there . . . straighten that bad boy out! Or maybe put it in a cast . . . hmmmmm lol .

I just figured out the perfect gift for my bf. Tickets to Jane's Addiction! They're playing here on the 28th and he was REALLY bummed he missed the show last year.
Just had to share because I'm soooooo excited.

I know this couple who have been going out for about 9 months, and she is getting him a playstation 2. I guess I'm just a bad girlfriend, or maybe just one who doesn't have that type of money to blow,) but does anyone else think this is a little extravagant ? They are $200 I believe...which is a little much for me, considering that's my car payment every month! I know he will love it though, so that's cool.

I tried to find a really unique gift for Kent but after hours at the mall yesterday...I just went ahead and got him a bottle of Issey Miyake cologne.
He's not my BF but we have gone out many times...and he always pays for everything...I just don't know what to get him.
Oh well.

I always get great boyfriend gifts for guys... Playstation, DVD players, winter coats, expensive watches. Not that I'm materialistic, because I'd always do cute, sweet things too... I just know what makes boys happy.
Here is my dilemma though. What if you are buying an ex-boyfriend gift? I dated a guy for about four years... we broke up this past spring, but we still talk often. Sometimes we think there may be potential to get back together, but so far we are just friends.
(James, don't put any snotty comments in here, do it by PM if you must!)
Anyway, what do you buy an ex-boyfriend who is now just a friend? I feel that it needs to be more personal than what I would get a random guy friend, but nothing overboard or too expensive.

Geesh, in high school I got guys gifts like cologne, boxers, Build-A-Bears... I usually did a pretty good job. I once got my ex-boyfriend the hockey jersey he'd been dying for and he said it was the best gift he ever had. Then again, he also liked the cheesy Avalanche tie I gave him, but he had awful taste in clothes.
For my current boyfriend, I've gotten him a flask for his 21st, a Build-A-Bear for last Christmas, a simple ring for our one-year anniversary, and one of those fiberoptic thingys for his 20th birthday.
This year for Christmas I bought him Kingdom Hearts for PS2, and the 4-DVD edition of LOTR. Then his mom bought LOTR for him before I could give it to him. So I'm still picking up stuff for him to have once I come back. I got him a nice TKE beer mug and a car decal, and I have to stop by Northwestern's Greek shop while I'm home so I can see if I can make him anything nice while I'm there.
Damn boys, you're such a pain in the ass!

I actually just won my boyfriend's gift on eBay and I'm so happy! He used to have a TurboGrafx 16 game system and his favorite game ever is Military Madness. They both got lost years ago when he moved for college and his parent's cleaned out their old house. I remembered him talking about it, so I found both on eBay! I also got him an extra controller and another TG16 game called China Warrior (It's sorta like the old Kung Fu from the original Nintendo-which I loved).
Plus, I bought tickets over the phone for an opening night screening of Lord of the Rings on Wednesday! It's actually a gift for both of us because I loved the first movie and can't wait for this one! (Orlando Bloom is hot, so that helps too!)
It still hasn't hit me that Christmas is about a week away!

Ok I'm bumping this thread b/c there are a lot of newbies around the boards lately...
What do you get for a boyfriend you've been w/for two years???
We talked about this today, I think the first year together, it's like a more expensive gift, but not as personal. Now that its been two years, what do you get that's special?? I can't get him a sweater and cologne....as everyone has stated earlier in this thread...
Ideas??? I'd be willing to get him some smaller stuff to go with it, like a DVD or something...but I still want the main gift to be something nice .

alright, jules....if all else fails in the trying to read his mind dept, ask him what he wants. there has to be something he wants super uber badly, so just make him tell you and then go get it.
if he says, "i dunno"/"i don't care"......get him some socks and tell him to suck it up.

Jules, I suck at getting boys presents - last year I made GPBoy such a creative present for our anniversary that I was spent by Christmas and got him two sweaters and some candy (I think, I can't even remember. ) I would try getting something more unique - like if he is really into sports, get him like front row seats to a game and take him out for a nice manly dinner beforehand?
