Okay I have liked and have most of the movies that we consider to be "flops". But haven't we all noticed that most of these movies are geared toward the AA community? What is this telling us?

I loved this one too! This movie was so funny! The white dude who rapped through the whole thing was the best. "Stop that, top that, you don't really wanna, wanna try to top that."

Let me add to my list

Fools Rush In
The Worst Witch
Vegas Vacation
License to Drive
Dead Presidents
Trapped in Paradise
Honeymoon in Vegas
Raising Arizona

I didn't know The Brothers was a flop either.

Me too!!!!! I remember my uncle had the tape for the longest and I never got around to seeing it! I was happy when I finally did, but some of the events in the end me and I was like WTF??? But I still enjoyed it nonetheless....

Thumbs up And here I thought I was alone!

For some odd, and unexplainable reason, I loved Teen Witch. The rap part was the funniest. Also, I watch Son-in-law a lot. I don't know why, but I think it's hilarious. Also, Bedazzled and Corky Romano. I made some friends watch those movies. We kept rewinding the Sensitive Guy portion of Bedazzled. It was sooo funny!

I LOVED the rap "Top that! Top that!"
and what about the little dance numbers "I Like Boys!" and
"I want to be the most popular girrllll!"

I love that junk!
I forgot to list
"She's out of control"
I used to get on my mothers nerves with that flick.

Bedazzeled was a flop?
oh ok then add that to my list.
Why do I know a guy who IS the sensitive guy
from that film? He looks, acts and talks like him.
I really think he should sue.

OK SHowstopper, I almost choked on my soda. You know a guy like that? Crazy! I didn't know it was a hit because I didn't consider watching it at the movie theater. I go to the movies practically every weekend. But I saw it on a Paramount Promotional VHS video and I laughed so hard I was crying.

Here is my list:
the Worst Witch (every Halloween since it aired the first time)
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Half-Baked
School Daze (I know everyone in my school saw it the first night)
Staying Alive (supposedly the sequel to Saturday Night Fever)
A Christmas Story (it actually didn't do well on the screen)
16 candles
Crooklyn (loved the soundtrack too)
Legend (with Tom Cruise)
Trainspotting(only 16mill)
Dancning in the dark (Bjork rules!)
Major Payne
Summer of Sam(loved the music)
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (How young was SJP in that)
American Psycho(it's a Christian Bale thing)
Raising Arizona
Can't think of anymore at the moment. I sure love going to the movies.

Sixteen Candles was not a flop, it's a classic!

I know every line of that movie. Also, my friends and I saw Half-Baked at the theaters because it was a two for one deal. It was soooo funny. I love Dave Chappelle. His stand-up was soo funny.

"Now all these years I thought I liked chicken because it was delicious. Now I understand it's because I am predispositioned because I'm Black"

~Dave Chappelle~

Yes! LOL It was really so bad because he even looks like that. The names are similar too! Homeboy got teased like crazy when that film came out.

And yes Dave Chappelle is the man! I try to always check him out when he comes to Carolines in NYC!
