Cool Da Movies!!!!

The Year Without a Santa Claus (this is the one with Mother Nature's children the Heat Miser and the Cold Miser)....My favorite part is when Heat Miser sings his song!!!!!
"I'm Mr. Heat Miser, I'm Mr. Sun....I'm Mr. Summer time, I'm Mr. 101."....

Does anybody know what I'm talking about????

I also love Scrooge...the musical version w/Albert Finney. The musical numbers are cute and it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. My favorite song in this movie is "Happiness".
"They say happiness is a thing you can't touch, a thing you can't see...I disagree. Happiness is whatever you want it to be........"

And how could I forget Nestor the Christmas Donkey!!!!!

I want a Dog For Christmas, Charlie Brown

I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown!
Tuesday, December 9 at 8/7c

I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown! centers on ReRun, the lovable but ever-skeptical younger brother of Linus and Lucy. It's Christmas vacation and, as usual, ReRun's big sister is stressing him out, so he decides to turn to his best friend, Snoopy, for amusement and holiday cheer. However his faithful but unpredictable beagle companion has plans of his own, giving ReRun reason to ask Snoopy to invite his canine brother Spike for a visit. When Spike shows up, it looks like ReRun will have a dog for Christmas after all... but then the real trouble begins.

"It's a Wonderful Life" is my favorite movie of all time period!! It so contradicts my personality but I love the simplicity of one mans life and the whole feeling good about the things in your life, bad and good. Thats a movie with the true meaning of Christmas.

"Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer", I made my son watch it last week, "Have a holy jolly Christmas......"

"A Christmas Story", when Ralphie is rubbing that lamp leg and when he says the curse word, pure comedy!

My favorite is Charlie Brown Christmas. I love the part when they are supposed to be practicing for the Christmas play but all the kids keep dancing. They look so cute! Another favorite is A Christmas Story. They aired it back home on Thanksgiving Day.

My favorite Christmas Cartoons are:

*Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer~ It is just not Christmas until I see that cartoon.

* Frosty the Snowman~ I love the parade they have in the cartoon. But I breakdown when he melts away.

* Charlie Brown's Christmas~ I really have a soft spot for Charlie Brown. A lot of times I wish Snoopy would just bite the hell out that Lucy, she is such a bully.

I'm so that I missed Charlie Brown Christmas!! I had two emergency clients come in right when I was about to sit down in the lounge with my Sam's Choice Chipotle Cheddar crackers and my Diet Redpop!!! That's OK, I'm getting the Charlie Brown Holiday Collection on DVD tomorrow at Target!!

I have A Christmas Story on DVD!! Also, last Christmas Hubby and I made a Christmas Cartoon tape with the following shows:

Frosty The Snowman
Frosty Returns
Frosty's Winter Wonderland (where he marries the snowwoman)
Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer
The Year Without A Santa Claus (Heat/Snow Miser)
How The Grinch Stole Christmas

I have to think of the rest, I'll post them later!!

Here are some...

What about "A Disney Channel Christmas", where they show all these Christmas Disney cartoon clips; some of you may have seen the abridged version on NBC, which includes "Mickey's Christmas Carol", and the cartoon with Mickey, Pluto, and Chip and Dale, which to this day I die laughing over. But anyways, good stuff, good stuff....

The Santa Clause I like, its sequel is, well, a'ight.

What about Santa Claus, the movie with Dudley Moore as chief elf Patch, who leaves the North Pole to team us with evil toymaker B.Z. (John Lithgow). I liked it.

For all you cult movie lovers, there's a cheap Mexican movie also called Santa Claus (1959) which MST3K riffed on and it was HEE-LARIOUS.

Who here have seen Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (1964) featuring a 7 year old Pia Zadora as Girmar the martian and other martians such as Kimar (chief martian), Voldar (evil martian) and Dropo (goofy martian).

Funniest MST3K line in the movie:

Voldar: All this trouble over a fat little man in a red suit.
Robot watching the movie: Truman Capote?

ETA: Yogi's First Christmas (1980) Yogi and Boo-Boo awake from hibernation to find that Ranger Smith and the whole HB gang is celebrating Christmas and keeping the owner from selling the Jellystone Park lodge. Rivals include Snively (owner's nephew) and Herman the Hermit (" 'dem Christmas DUDES!"). Great cartoon special.
