Schools that (should) open for expansion

Well via the 2024/5 colony thread, Utah and Clemson have opened up for expansion. I wasn’t expecting Clemson to open up so soon.

After Sigma Delta Tau firmly establishes their newer (2022) chapter, Florida Atlantic University appears from their Fall 2024 Primary Recruitment Numbers to have enough student interest to once again Open For Expansion.

I hope the University of Florida opens for extension. I know the university raised the percentage of out of state students accepted in the last few years.

That's a really cool story! I've heard of people joining a chapter new to campus after they charter but never being "involved" in the process as a local looking to affiliate.

So hearing that tri delta is returning to the University of Arizona, I wonder how the housing situation is going to work for them.

Tri-Delta still owns their house and property on campus at UofA. The question is if they will renovate or if there will be a full tear down and rebuild.

Oh that’ll certainly help. I am happy Arizona opened, they 100% needed a house after seeing PCs in the 160’s.

Absolutely astonished that chapter total is 433 at the non-southern University of Colorado.

ETA: The chapter total typo of 4176 @Arizona in GC's 2025-26 NPC Chapter and Campus Listing is a hoot!
