Ok I got a 83 and 20 of that came from still thinkin Tupac is still alive. I know thats bad but us Cali people have to keep hope alive, plus I love Tupac and i just want him 2 come back and prove alot of people wrong.

sidenote: i knew it was gon be aight when i moved in my dorm last year, in fear of never living ghettofab again, and a girl downstairs from me had boric acid laid out in the cracks of her floor. that brought it home 4 me!

Ok...something's wrong with that quiz. I grew up in the South and everybody (I thought) did the majority of that stuff. I still have a grease can and Tupac is alive. Has no one else seen the signs?

I got 144. Just for the record, I'm caucasian.

And I have a few more points!

1) Ruint is a word!!
2) Since obviously I'm ghetto fab (don't know how that happened) has anyone else taken a shower in a bathtub that has no shower head? My ex's mother lived in public housing and they just had bathtubs...no shower head whatsoever. So we'd take a pitcher into the bathroom to shower with. Am I really the ONLY person who's done this??

I'm sorry, but that is ghetto. House shoes are called house shoes because they are to be worn in the house.

I agree with you about the games.

My momma was the candy lady, but I just think she was being a good entrepreneur, not ghetto. She saw a demand so she supplied the goods. It was just a little gig on the side, and I always had the most toys in the neighborhood.

This quiz has been in existence for years now and in its original form, it was never called the GHETTO FABULOUS QUIZ, I believe it was something related to being Black.

I hate the term ghetto fabulous very much.
A lot of the questions IMO just relate to growing up Black in America; it has nothing to do with being ghetto or fabulous.


oh and for the record, my score is 101.

The stuff ont his quiz strikes me as regional and relating to your culture. I'm West Indian and not from the South, so most of the stuff on this list is just stuff my family did not do.

I'm with CT4 though, I do not understand why this quiz has to be 'ghetto'. Since when is playing red light/green light or tag ghetto????

84!!!!!!!!! I'm semi-ghetto, but for a minute I thought Tupac was still alive, but I don't anymore.

My mother used to store used bacon grease in a small Mason jar, freeze it and use it to flavor her okra (yuck), the batteries of the Direct TV remote in my room are held in by the back and some duct tape, I used to call my uncle Ray-Ray, my little cousin's nickname is Fee-Fee, when my brothers were babies as well as my two nephews, I used to sanitize their pacifiers by sucking on them, anytime I attend a gathering where I can bring food home, I always do , whenever I go to my friend's house and I have to iron something, I use a towel and her windowsill, and I have at one time or another used vaseline to put some shine back into my shoes. There I've said it!

I sent the quiz to a friend of mine who works at a bank...she printed out and all her co workers took the test...
While on her lunch ...this girl was taking the test...and to my friend she said...I never used dish detergent for bubble bath...(pertaining to question #6 on the quiz) but I have used it to wash my clothes....

I say that is GHETTO!!! She need to add 35 to her score...what do you think?

i attribute it to growing up in both the 'burbs and the 'hood (2 years). Also we call my grandmother - ma-dea.

I also contribute the score to people ALWAYS saying that I wanted to be white or talk white when I was younger
