I REALLY posted to ask if anyone has heard the Ms. Jade CD. Her song Ching Ching is HOOOOTTTTTTTT!! I love it!!
Heather Headley is the bomb. I've also heard some of her broadway tunes. She is very talented.

I thought I was the only one loving "Ching Ching". I'll actually have the chance to see Ms. Jade along with Musiq and Nappy Roots this weekend. I'll give a report later.

I picked up the Floetry and India.Arie CDs this past week. So wonderful to have really good ORIGINAL music.

I just picked up Floetry yesterday...it is the fire, as we say in the ATL I just love it.

I swear the same music must reach folks at the SAME TIME regardless of market forces (cause I don't listen to radio or watch MTV that much anymore), lol.

I have been wondering WHY Ching Ching is not BLOWING up for at least two weeks now, that song is BANGIN. Does anyone know who the guy on the track is?

Ditto with the Heather Headley songs. I always wish I could have gotten to see HER playing Aida, but alas the cast recording will have to suffice.

FLoetry also gets the big thumbs up- they are sooooooo tight.

Losing weight will do that to you...he looks DELICIOUS! I mean that's back to the 'back seat of my jeep' type LL. His smile is gorgeous!

I had to come back...I absolutely LOVE Erykah Badu's new song w/Common! I think she is so pretty, naturally. I am also feeling Pastor Troy's (I am embarrassed), new song w/ Ms Jade "Are we cuttin?"

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan I got Floetry this weekend for $10 (teacher discount) and I finally finished listened to it umm right now and IT IS THE BOMB!!! This is my new "sit in the tub with a glass of wine, a candle lit" CD

I am FEELING these songs:

1. getting late
2. butterflies
3. subliminal
4. opera
5. if i was a bird ******

I need to listen to it again to get the total feel but I seldom have uninterrupted music time anymore.

By the way, LOL, I bought the VERY FIRST AL B. SURE! CD on Saturday as well -- yes I still have the tape but no tape player. How come that dayum CD only has 8 songs That means as an 8th grader I shelled out $10 (with tax) for 8 songs!! That mofo TRICKED ME!!! I had to come home check the TAPE like maybe the CD has songs missing!! NOOOOOOPE!! I tell you lightskinned mofos with a unibrow GET OVER!!

Hey lovely,
The video to Ching Ching is out - I am definitelty loving this song. The guy on the track is none other than Mr. Timbaland himself. The song also features Nelly Fortado. Hope you get to check out the video.

TOO funny!!!!!!!!!

About Floetry , my fave tracks are:
- Intro (I think it is called Big Ben)
- Ms. Stress
- Say Yes
- Getting Late
- Opera

I REALLY feel all of them, but these are the ones that get immediate attention, lol.
