This really sucks...I'm so sorry Billy. This process just doesn't seem fair sometimes. People who would give their hearts don't get a bid, and those who just want to be a t-shirt wearers seem to have no problems getting in...

Billy,

When you're down and out lift up your head and shout...."I'M DOWN AND OUT!!"

I'm sorry things did not go as you'd hoped. Keep your chin up and look to next semester.

I would like to thank everyone for your words of support. You guys rock!

Kevin, yeah, I've thought of transfering. I don't think VT though. Maybe GMU or William and Mary. Who knows?

Hey Billy, I am really sorry, but one thing my friend told me is that sometimes you have to lose to appreciate the win. Hope it makes sense. And we hope to hear about you rushing next year as well.

Talking

The best thing you could do right now is remain in contact with the houses you are interested in. In other words go to their social and philantropy events and become friends with some of the pledges/brothers. This way the houses will rember you and how much you want to be a part of what they do when the next rush rolls around.

Hey Billy,

Sorry to hear you didn't receive a bid I'm sure it's their loss. Stay optimistic!

I graduated from VT in 1998.

If you transfer, think about VT. It is a great school. Ok, I'll admit I'm biased, but it really is. William and Mary is a really good school also. My bf went there and he's always bragging about it.
