I am so happy that you Sorors enjoyed the Boule in Miami. I hate that I didn't get the chance to attend. From the posts that I've read, and the pictures I have seen, it was a blast. I think it is great that the Iotas supported us! Look forward to everyone joining us here in Memphis for Boule 2004!

Thumbs up

....albeit, a little late.

Boule was off the map! A very, very classy and elegant production. I must commend Eta Kappa Sigma and their undergraduates and other local alumnae who assisted. It was a RHOyal pRHOduction!

arRHOgance, what's up baby girl? I had too much fun hanging with you, dezzy, Daisy, Pam and Tifani! And the "Addictive" stRHOll was lovely wasn't it. I was throwing the brothers attending the party napkins so they could wipe the drool from their mouths. We handled up on that stroll girl. Trust me, I took that back home with me.

The public meeting was awesome. I appreciated the wonderful sisterly greetings brought by Ms Black(Zeta sister) of the NPHC. Sister Black is a true blue (pun intended) sister. She is a great sister and quality leader. She is a shinning example of how sisters & brothers in the Divine 9 should behave towards each other. We could all learn some unity tips from her. What an excellent woman chosen to lead the National Pan. The local Pan brought greetings, the city of miami & dade county saluted us, the Kappas did a smooth job, the Phi Beta Sigma's welcomed us with love, the AKA sister represented and brought us kind greetings, the Iota Polemarch(sp?) brought the charge and affirmations - I love to hear that brother speak!

Then having Ms. Maxine Waters (Delta sister) speak! She was intelligent, powerful and articulate - what a great speaker and sister! It was also cute the way Ms. Waters Sister, Dr. Kim (Sigma Soror) and the IGB Owens joked about what sorority she should have pledged. I appreciated that we could joke as sisters and as a community in the fun lighthearted way we did. Ms Waters message was a good one. She touched on the recent police brutality against the child (16 yr old) in CA, and many other pertinent issues.

The awards banquet was the ultimate in class & elegance! From the beautiful dais, sorors in their finest RHOyal Blue & Gold evening wear to the tea rose mirrored center piece, to the operatic selections brougt to us by that talented sistah studying opera, Eta Kappa Sigma took us to a whole nother level at this Boule!

The party at Klub Krave on South Beach was fun. Sorors were mad deep! The whole club was Sigma-fied. I was working the door, Trust me, 9 out of 10 people in the club were Sigmas, we mobbed South Beach that night. VIP was banging, sorors was up on stage, on top of speakers, strolling in VIP, everything was tight. And it was all love.

The Omega Rho Ceremony, was a sight to see. Sorors as far as the eye can see in pure white, just as classy as they wanted to be remembering our sorors who entered Omega Rho.

The Tank concert was nice, and Ms. Ruby Baker was even better. Now that sistah can SANG! And ...She is now a Sigma Soror! She was so pleased and floored by our genuine-ness(is that a word) and sisterly love she pledged a Floridian chapter shortly after the Boule. And Ms. Baker was a legacy of a long line of another Divine 9 group. RHOyalty is now her legacy!

I met sorors from the 'net, those I hadn't seen in while, bonofied old heads, and a host of neos, fresh off the sands! I had an opportunity to sit and chat with our IPGB Dr. Morris and her Sister Dr. Carter at the loddy cafe and was called by first and last name by our current IGB Owens. *gasp* *clutching the pearls & rubies*

You know as long as I've been apart of the Sigma Legacy, the genuine sisterhood and sincerity of the membership and affiliates continues to amaze me. Who would have thought, hob-knobbing with Immediate past grand basileus and on a first name basis the with current Internal Grand Basileus....I tell ya! Sigmas, we have a good thing here ladies!

So glad I took the RHOad less traveled. Truly it has made all the difference in the world!

Eee-yip! Keep *STRIVING* Goddesses,.....until the Dawn!

Sisterly,

Aurora6

Thumbs up WOW!

Boule wasn't that long ago. I've been so busy that it feels like a year has passed! Thanks for refreshing my memory of what a beautiful time we had.

And yes that was nice the way they joked during the public meeting -- In the words of IGB Owens to Maxine Waters, "I'm going to say it again, you ought to be a Sigma."

I know that you are preparing for back-to-school, working and, qualifying on ice but I was hoping that soon and very soon I would see some of those wonderful pictures you took at boule. But that's okay sorhor I know that it's my fault and I should've attended the conference so that I wouldn't have to beg like a poor little puppy ! I will wait patiently for you sorhor to share your gift with us.
