PI Kaps in DC

I was walking to work one day and i saw a whole lot of pi kaps wearing their letters. I thought it was a conclave/grand chapter. But anyways, DC stuf does get old. Ive lived here all my life so when we get tired of the dc thing we just hang out at Cosi or Starbucks. Insomnia is a cool club to go too as well. This may sound touristy but go to a museum. There is some cool stuff out there. The National Gallery of Art has a new egyptian exhibit, the corcoran has a great exhibit on Jackie Kennedy and there is so much more.

PotentialPledge, I may have asked you already, but where did you attend high school?

For those who go to school in DC area, I was wondering if your house had a place where you hang out at??? Maybe a bar, or club, or anything.

My mom and uncle also went to Coolidge, '67 and '83 respectively.

I went to Georgetown Undergrad and I start at American for Grad this Fall, Master of Fine Arts Program in Creative Writing.

Hi everybody. I'm representing the N.A.S.T.Y. Nu Beta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. I'm a GW student and I'm here for the summer. For something different check out Bar Nunn on U Street. On Monday nights they have an open mic where you can sing, read poetry, rap, whatever. Also the waterfront at Georgetown is a nice place to chill. A big AAA-PHIII to all my icy cold bros and a phi-skee to all my sorors.

What up, enlightenment06?

Justin McLaughlin-Williams was my roommate at GU his Senior year.

Nu Beta is a great chapter. I just might see you around at AU if you all have any programs there while I'm there.

I grew up in Northern PG county and go to GW for school. Love to all my Phi Sigs As for clubs, depends what u like... I love reggae, R& B and hip hop so u'll see me at Dream, VIP or the Ritz (i know... it's ghetto there) If you are just in the mood to chill, there are lots of cafes in Georgetown and Dupont Circle so just take your pick. Best place I know for studying is that big Barnes & Noble in Gtown... has coffee and everyone is quiet I don't know anything else to tell you that hasn't already been said, but hope this helps.

Mr. wvapo and I are living in Lexington Park, MD, about an hour and 20 min. from D.C.; plus we have some APO brothers living in Sterling, VA that we visit quite often.

If you want something quirky to do in DC right now, check out the Party Animals (all the funky painted/decorated elephants and donkeys) around town... they're really cool, and they're only gonna be there until October, then the Arts Commission is going to auction them off.

One of my sisters just transferred from GW....great school! PotentialPledge~ I'm in the Fairfax area so it's sort of a college town lately with GMU here. They have great bars down here. Firehouse Grill on Wednesday's, Bridges on Thursdays, they also have great college student specials at Tia's and Carlos o' Kellys....King St and Duke St. in Old Town Alexandria have some awesome bars to hit, especially on Friday and Saturday nights when it's full of the college crowd!!!
