I watched last night, and I noticed how Paula Abdul was tearing up when they rejected the group of 15....she must have remembered the "hundreds" of rejections she faced. She seemed truly sympathetic towards them.

And she stuck up for the big girl when Simon told her she didn't look like an American idol....she remembers her weight issues too.

HILARIOUS!!!

I was mad that I missed the 1st show, but I caught the second one. Simon likes to clown on people. I was ROTF when he told that one dude that didn't know the words to the song about himself and then dismissed him. Then when Simon and them kept dismissing people for like 4-5 groups straight. But what really had me laughing was when that big dude (can't remeber the name) told Randy that he needed to go to the gym with him and HE looked like a hot mess himself?? Won't miss the next show.....I want to see that biracial guy sing again, he was GREAT!!!

Lightbulb American Idol

Well, I FINALLY was able to view the show. Out of all the singers tonight I only liked two: Tamyra (sp?) and Christopher. Those two were like music to my ears.

Everyone else just sucked. What was up with Justinn's outfit and why did Kelli remind me of Shakira when she should have sounded like Whitney, even though Simon doesn't think so.

I think Tamyra blew them out the water last night! That guy who was a friend of hers sang great too. The one dude that had the updated Milli Vanilli/Sexual Chocolate thing going on had me scratching my head until my scalp bled. He kept saying I was never seen in the first episodes and no wonder! Where did he think he was going with a that safety pin getup? I got a feeling that girl from Morton Illinois that sang Patsy Cline might get a spot but I don't like her. She reminds of of Jessie from "Saved by the Bell". And who told that other girl you could turn a Monkees song into a blues number? Leave jazzing up Daydream Believer to Neil Diamond. And A little "Shefafa on the side"? I hadn't heard that song since Sanford &Son. They should have found songs they were more comfortable doing.

Dang, girl. Are you okay? LMAO @ you. He needed to put all those safety pins away. I am always looking for a safety pin and I see that mofo done took them all.

I chose Tamyra, Kelli and Chris as my winners but the lines were busy for forever so I gave up.

i was on the phone with my best friend last night like, WHAT is she singing about? i blew my phone bill up last night, calling and making sure people were watching this show.

Girl #1 was on point with my song, and the last dude was good too. the people in between were just filler.

First of all, I am so happy that Tamyra was picked.

My happiness ended there. I could not believe that Chris did not get picked. I was sad. But then when Ryan and then Jim, of all people, won I got down right mad!

I was happy though to see Tamika. She was right about Rodesia, or whatever her name is. To me, she just did not do it and she looked like a broke down version of Tweet.

I hope that Tamyra wins the entire thing, although I haven't seen any of the others yet.

I wanted Tamyra to win too. Second, I wanted Chris to win, b/c I really liked his voice and his aura and air of confidence. The thrid person I would have picked was Ryan. I actually liked her voice too. I didn't care for most of the songs sung last night, so I'm basically judging by their voices and creativity.

And was Kelli the one that did "I will always love you"? I liked her too. If I could pick 4, she'd be 4th...or maybe she' be 3rd and Ryan would be 4th...

There is a wildcard for the judges

So those that didn't get picked, one of them still may have a chance. Did you see how the girl with all the moppy hair that did Whitney was acting when she wasn't picked? She didn't want anyone to hug her and she wouldn't clap. Come on girl, you made it farther than a lot and who knows what will happen. Don't be a sore loser!

Yeah, she was a sore loser. I mean she was sitting at the top w/ Jim, and she didn't hug him. But Chris didn't get up and hug anyone either, although he was sitting on the bottom, and he clapped. I hope he gets the wildcard vote.
