Blain will be in my thoughts and prayers. I hope he recovers quickly and that he has the love, care and support he needs and deserves.

Thanks for letting us know about this terrible tragedy. Blaine is so lucky to have friends and brothers like you to help him through times like these. Please keep us posted on his progress.

Here is a little of what I know about Blaine's situation.

They finally stopped the internal bleeding and some of his internal organs from swelling up. That is good. I hear he has three broken ribs and one of the ribs punctured his right lung when it broke. So that is creating a problem for him and the doctors and surgeons are trying to fix that as I type this. He has various cuts and scrapes and bruises on his body, one major cut along side his right side from what I have been told. I have also been told that his right arm and right collarbone might be broken, but I'm not totally sure about those. They had to remove glass from various spots on his body but nothing too too major. It looks like he is in such bad shape because of his internal injuries. He has regained consciousness, but has only been awake for a few minutes at a time. He has lost quite a bit of blood and they have to give him another blood transer (he has had two or three). He is also breathing with the help of a respirator. They have him in a room in the E.R. but they aren't letting anyone see him right now. I'm going up there later with his sister and his mother is going to sneak us in.

I have had quite a few people ask where he is and if they can send cards if they want. I will let you know what you can do with those when I find out. But I do know for now that they aren't letting anyone outside of his immediate family see him.

Thanks for the update... I'm so glad to hear that things are starting to look at least a little brighter for Blaine. Whenever you find an address to send cards, please let us know (you can PM the info if you'd rather not post it on GreekChat). We'd love to let Blaine know that we are definitely thinking of him.

Thanks for the update. Hopefully, he's through the very worst of it. We're all still praying and pulling for him.

Please post again when you get a chance, because I'm sure that I wasn't the only one that checked this thread about a hundred times yesterday.

I don't know how many knew this but today is Blaine's birthday.
I just wish he was able to celebrate it, instead of being stuck in a hospital. It's sad to think he probably doesn't even know what day it is because he's been unconscious or sleeping or drugged up the entire time. I went to go see him today but only saw him for a minute or two before we were escorted from the room. I will spare the details on the main board, but if you would really like to know, you can always Private Message me (it's not good, at least from the looks of it).

I don't use AOL IM, and I just signed up so I can talk to people that want to know how Blaine is doing. It is getting hard to keep up with all the Private Messages and emails that I am getting from many people on this site but also many of his friends, family and brothers that are scattered around.
