Okay so a load of you have probably listened to this before but it was new to me and probably still will be to some of you. Definitely funny!

The only embarrassing one was during Spring Break in Acapulco. I slept over this guy's hotel (not sketchy... 2 of my sisters were friends with him from our school-- I was with 20 of my sisters)... and it was early, and I stroll up our hotel walkway and 20 guys from a fraternity from our school are lined up... they were up early to go on some boat....
And come to think of it, I've done my share of walks (usually in the same vicinity as my house so it's pretty short)... but the guy usually drives me home in the morning/afternoon. Guys are like do you want to stop (at this breakfast place where EVERYONE goes on the weekends) for breakfast? I'm like NO (do you see what I look like and how I'm dressed?!).

My Walk of Shame
I slept over my boyfriend's(currently my ex) apt; I woke up early and decied to go back over to my apt. I didn't feel like looking his room for clean clothes to put on, so I figured- what the hey, its 9:30 on a Sunday morning, the only other people I will see are other people doing the walk of shame. I put back on my tight black pants, some crazy sequenced halter type deal, high heels, and walk out. I'm almost back at my apt when I stop dead in my tracks. Apparently the school was having an Open House. Now there is a group of about 25 potential freshies, and I'm walking around in last night's clothes and my hair and makeup a complete mess.
I don't think any of their parents let their kids go to the school the next fall.

Well I finally got there around 10:30 or 11, we messed around, did our thing, and started watching a movie. I decided to leave some time after midnight. The worst part of the entire night was driving home thinking to myself that I wasted gas on pretty much nothing. LOL. IT WASN'T WORTH THE DRIVE!!!! My roommate still hasn't let me live it down. LOL. Never again will I go for a booty call that is more than 10 minutes from my house. HAHA.

HAHA I loved this - seeing all the people spilling out of different rooms where they did not belong!

I somehow seem to invite ridiculous walks of shame! Three good stories:
1) New Student Week at my school. I get it in my head that there is a certain guy I want to hook up with, so I wear a HOT outfit - as in, very slutty shirt, very high heels, very smoky eye makeup - and succeed in my goal. Well, the outfit that was so perfect the night before was rather imperfect now, especially as my hair was clearly slept on and my eyeliner and mascara were all smudged under my eyes. I walk home the mile to my sorority house from his fraternity house, and on the way I encounter the ENTIRE freshman class on their way to dean's convocation. They were all pointing at me and whispering things like "She's on a Walk of Shame!"
2) In March, following a Rock Star themed Date Party. I dressed as Posh Spice in this super-short minidress, 3 inch stilettos that tied at the ankle, with a red coat over it (that made it appear as if I wasn't wearing pants b/c the dress was so short). Not only do I sleep in my date's fraternity house, but I don't wake up until 11 the next morning - a THURSDAY. Mind you it is also about 25 degrees out and snowing, plus I have a terrible blister from my stilettos. His fraternity house is the farthest from my sorority house - over a mile - and there is just no way I can walk home at that hour in that outfit. I start calling everyone I know who lived on that part of campus trying to find clothing... finally, this girl I barely know in my sorority picked up her phone and agreed to loan me track pants and a pair of sneakers. However, I had to walk down fraternity row to get to her dorm - still in my Posh Spice outfit. As I walked past my freshman boyfriend's fraternity house, I thought I saw him coming and flipped out, wanting to hide as I was clearly on a walk of shame. Even after picking up the change of clothes, my tiny purse and the stilettos I was carrying made it perfectly clear that I was on a Walk of Shame, at 11 oclock on a Thursday morning. Awful.
3) This summer. I was at this guy's house who lives a street away from me. We woke up around 6 in the morning at had our fun, and at about seven I said I should get going because I had some things to do. (AKA, leave before his parents got out). He said that his parents got up really early and went to see if they were up. Not only was his mom up, but she had heard us and asked him who the girl in his room was. I had to walk past her to get out of the house, and not only did she know who I was, but she and my mother are friends. I felt like quite a skank that morning!

Freshman Orientation-All of the fraternities were throwing parties the first night. I had met up with some girls and we convinced ourselves that we had to go. The first house, the SAEs, threw a huge bash and were screaming at us from the deck so we went to their party. We ended up hanging out with the Chi O's(who supplied us with beer)all nite. Some of us were too drunk to make it home so the guys told us we could stay the night. Imagine waking up late for orientation, rushing to get dressed, and walking into the orientation like an hour into it. . .IN THE GYM. . .IN FRONT OF THOUSANDS OF PARENTS, FUTURE STUDENTS, and TOUR GUIDES. It was embarassing because we felt like crap and had to sit through the whole thing. One of the tour guides asked me later if I was getting an early start on Greek life and partying. . .who knew.
I could go on. . .but that was my first and most memorable one.

How ironic! I just had a walk of shame of sorts on Sunday morning. I graduated Saturday and so you know it was ON Saturday night.
I went to the club, which happened to feature a free cover and free drinks for ladies til midnight. Normally I don't even get to the club til about 12:15-12:30, but hey for free drinks, I was there at 11, lol. So I am consuming kamikazes then about 12 am hits and suddenly I keep seeing people I know from like high school and stuff and I drunkenly declare to each of them "HEY! I GEREWFRD!!" Apparently they could understand that I had graduated and decided to keep buying me shots and long islands. All I know is the next morning I was up at my friends house in my bra and some pink silk boxers, lol. I picked up the first shirt I found on the floor and made the quick walk of shame to my car, lol. Fortunately nothing happened, I was undressed cause they said I was sweating from all the dancing and they were worried. BTW, note to all...leather pants + Florida + all night clubbing = not good.

OK, this was about two years ago in Vegas...
I went with a group of my sisters and my boyfriend was in town the same weekend for a wrestling tournament. He was staying at a hotel about a block off the strip. One night, we all went out to the clubs and I went to stay with my boyfriend. I didn't have any clothes with me, and his clothes are way too big for me, so he walked me back to my hotel at around 12 noon with makeup all over the place, a leather miniskirt, knee high boots, and a lowcut top. He had changed into a t-shirt, shorts, and flip flops. All the families were staring at us and I was so embarrassed!!!

One night I was IMing with a guy friend of mine that lives in Orange County. We hadn't seen each other in a long time, but we've always been really flirty and sexual. I decided I was horny, so I told him to come on out. He made the six hour drive to Tempe, and after getting a bit drunk, we started getting it on. Right afterwards, he mentioned to me that he had parked in a metered spot. I look at the clock and it is 7am, and I know the parking/transit nazis are about to start their rounds, so I decide that we have to feed the meter. Well, I had dressed up all sexy in preparation for his arrival, so here I am in this TINY black shirt with no bra, and a pair of track pants thrown on and my slippers. I know my hair was a nasty mess, and my makeup was all over my face. He's in unbelted jeans and an undershirt.
When we got down to the parking lot, there was a cop sitting right there in his car for some reason, and he WINKED at us.
Christ I've never been so embarassed. But at least I didn't have to do the 6 hour drive of shame home and explain to everyone where I had been all night and morning.

one from back in the day...
at 6:30 a.m. I ran down the back stairwell of the men's dorm...
only to exit in full view of the athletic cafeteria....
suddenly a whole group of football players stopped their breakfast to stare at me as i slunk around to the back stairs of my dorm.
(and you all thought I am such a nice older lady)

I have never done a walk of shame, or I haven't as of yet anyway, but living in a sorority house I have witnessed more than my share of embrassing walks. The worst is girls who have to walk from somewhere like FIJI or Ag Rho since they are clear across campus. Luckily the guys usually bring the girls home, but still, there have been a few random people who have just walked home. And it is SO far away, you have to walk through the heart of our campus, the busiest place on campus too probably, to get back to greek town from their houses. That would suck.
