Ok....yeah this story doesn't sound right. I hope we're not talking about the Sigma Pi's from Wayne State cuz those guys are awesome! Maybe this Kinney person had a bad experience with them and decided to make this up. Usually when people tell a story like this, they don't use the actual GLO's name.

You read my mind. Could it be another identity of the resident troublemaker?

oh my goodness... she REALLY must be dense. i mean... i personally have seen hazing and know what goes on. i even know of an instance in which a frat's whole pledge class de-pledged and only came back on the guarantee that rules would be followed. no guy is stupid enough to put up with more than he thinks is fair... as for being in the house during hell week... ummm.. that does not happen! even for girlfriends! i know this, cause all of my friends date in different frats and NONE of us were allowed to see our bfs in the house, even if they were upperclassmen. i personally did witness some 'hazing', but it was all in fun and AFTER initiation... they seemed to be enjoying some sort of mock violence. whatever. just keep in mind... frat boys DO get fratty every so often!

I would have to agree that no one is allowed in the houses during new member activities. I went to our Sig Pi house to deliver something last semester, and as soon as I pulled in the driveway, there were like 6 brothers there to greet us. One of the guys I know pulled me aside and asked if he could help me with something because they were having a new member function. So, I really doubt some random girl would be allowed to see a hazing activity.

Themore I read, the more I believe this is major league trolling; HOWEVER, different chapters of the same organization treat not only their pledges differently, but their pledge activities differently. I have seen chapters haze pledges right in front of their house, while others are very secretive. What a chapter of FRATERNITY A does often means very little about a different chapter of FRATERNITY A.

i think the most disturbing thing, other than the spelling, is that she would love animals so much that she would recruit her sisters to steal...DEAD RATS....not just dead rats...but stinky bald rats. Now you are in possession of dead, stinky, bald rats...wouldnt that make you the weird one?

Cracking me up
volgirl and KABillyMac, y'all are too much!
I am laughing out loud here at work, and I am going to get myself into some MAJOR trouble in a minute, because my GreekChat-at-work habit may be revealed.
No way the original post is true. As has been repeatedly pointed out, there are so many holes in that story (and in that grammar) that we all know this is just some wacko trying to stir up trouble.
Some times you just have to shake your head and say, "Too many freaks, not enough circuses," you know?
