This is all I remember from this movie, aside from the terrible, scary, fake shark!

Touche. I thought Perry took the role to... appear straighter? (Note: EYE don't think he comes off as gay, no matter how many pairs of hose and wigs he dons as Madea. I don't find anything about him "gay," and wondering what others are seeing.)

Thank you.
I honestly would love to see a proper remake of Labyrinth. I think it could be successful as a darker story.

Maybe. I thought it was more along the lines of expanding his horizon. Kind of like doing Good Deeds and The Family That Preys for a more diverse audience.

deepest, bluest... my hat is like a shark's fin. James Todd, what? I thought for years it was his head was like a shark's fin, which is still odd because he's a total milk dud up top. So not G lyrics!
and YES to TP expanding his acting chops. I can take or leave his acting, but I really enjoyed Good Deeds.

Forget Jurassic Park. Let's use 'War of the Worlds' instead. In the original, the special effects they tried to pull off where horrible. They were impressive at the time the movie was released, I'm sure, but now they just look extremely fake. I agree that it was a good idea to remake that movie. If you haven't seen the original and/or remake, search online for some scenes, and it won't take you long to see what I mean.

But hey - no need to reinvent the wheel, right? Just take an old story and old script from a popular movie and make millions of dollars. This seems to be Hollywood's MO lately. It drives me crazy that no one seems to be able to come up with their own creative ideas anymore!
...Sorry, it's Monday

I've seen both "War of the Worlds", and that movie is a perfect example of the very reason why I would like to see a "Jaws" remake. I'd take "Deep Blue Sea" sharks any day over "Jaws". I think if Steven Spielberg directed it, it would be really good.
This does not look real, to me.

How about "Jaws 2016" (as an extinct Megalodon)

So like I said, there's no need to mess with 'Jaws'. The original movie looked real enough. The sequels should have never been made. Awful.
But speaking of sequels… who's heading to the theaters to see 'Mrs. Doubtfire 2'?! …………………...

You've never heard of a Magalodon? They became extinct about a million years ago. If you're not fascinated with prehistoric life, then you probably wouldn't have heard of them. They were amazing animals.
I'd also like to see a movie based on Neil deGrasse Tyson's book, "Death By Black Hole". As detailed and realistic as he is, it would be interesting to see the effects on our planet if there was a massive, behemoth, black hole in our solar system --like the mass of about 4 billion Suns, and about 15-20 million miles across. That would easily fit inside the orbit of Mercury. And no, there wouldn't be a happy ending, if it was realistic. But to see how it would effect us is what would be interesting, to me. As long as it wasn't anything unrealistic like say, "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". That movie was awful.
One of the only movies I liked exactly the way it was, was "The Mist". Awesome movie.

I LOVE "The Mist". One of my favorite movies.
I also don't want another remake of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" (1956). The 1978 remake was perfection.
They better not do another remake of "The Fly" (1958, 1986); "Imitation of Life" (1934, 1959); or "Mommie Dearest" (1981). Basically, leave my favorite movies alone.

I agree with leaving "well enough alone".
Just like we didn't need a remake of "The Manchurian Candidate." I was insulted. The original was wonderful.

I'd rather waste movie theater money seeing The Black Hangover...I mean..."Think Like a Man 2".

What?! You didn't like Close encounters of the third kind? That movie was a good movie. What is it NOT to like about that movie? Have you ever seen the movie Contact, with Jodi Foster? I like movies about aliens coming to visit us or vice versa.

Remake and new by the same author, who I can't for the life of me come up with right now.
The First Wives Club was such a great and seriously dark book. Why they couldn't keep the Bette Midler storyline intact was ridiculous, even then.
Then the same author wrote a great and WAY darker book called Flavor of the Month. I don't know who they'd get to potentially ruin their careers but if done right would probably win Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor because of the crazy shite they'd have to believably pull off.

I'd like to see kind of like a series of movies about the Divine 9. A series about each of the 9 bglos and the obstacles the Founders had to climb when each organization was founded. It would definitely have to be a Spike Lee Joint production.
