Oh I will! Its actually all written up already, the only reason I'm not posting the rest now is because I'm at the doctors and then have bid day so I just have to wait until I'm back at the computer Also, please excuse the run on sentence

Day 4
Day 4- Pref Night
Hey everyone! Sorry I didn’t post sooner. I had to go back to the hospital today ☹
Anyway, my schedule for Pref night was as follows:
Party 1: Snow
Party 2: Peeta
Again, I was thrilled Peeta was on my schedule, but was surprised Snow asked me back. I had a class that ended about an hour and 15 minutes before my first party, and since it was about 3 miles away from the sororities, I decided to leave half an hour early. This was where my night went bad. The main transportation system at my school was not working, so after 30 minutes of waiting for a bus and a taxi, I was starting to get desperate. My phone calls weren’t going through, so I couldn’t call anyone. An hour before the party, the transportation system was back up. I guess it wasn’t REALLY back up, though, because it took me to the wrong place. So I had to walk uphill all the way trough campus to my dorm. I had about 25 minutes to get ready. After my friend helped me do my hair and make-up, I had 15 minutes… and the zipper on my gorgeous dress was stuck. About 5 girls tried to fix it until it finally just broke. 5 minutes until the party I had nothing to wear… so I threw on the first suitable dress I could find. With one minute to spare, I left my dorm. I had already told my Rho Gamma I would probably be late, but I didn’t want to be anything more than 5 minutes past the time the party started. So I asked a random person how to get to Snow from my dorm and she pointed me in the wrong direction. I finally figured out how to get there, and then the guys in the house across the street started heckling and mocking me. At this point, I was devastated. My Rho Gamma looked at me, asked what was wrong, and I burst into tears while all the girls were getting called in. It was awful, and I was so so embarrassed. She was so sweet though, and helped me gain composure as she assured me my name had not yet been called. Despite everything going wrong, I still had made it there on time(ish)!
Snow- The girl who picked me up was the same girl who rushed me the first day. She was so sweet and genuine, but she was also the only person I felt I really got along well with. The card she wrote was so personal and kind that I almost cried again. However, I guess this house has a bad reputation and there have been some hazing rumors flying around (which I never heard until she brought them up), and the whole time she talked about this. During the ceremony, I found myself zoning out (I later found out this was because I was getting really sick) and didn’t really feel moved. I left feeling no different then when I came in.
Peeta- I managed to get here without any issues, thankfully. My friend from back home called me in, and I couldn’t have been happier. She showed me a card that had notes from a few different girls that had rushed me, and told me how she had to fight with another girl to pref me. At one point, she said to me, “cr2817, I want you here. You ARE a Peeta.” This made me even happier, and increased my feeling of belongingness. Though I won’t go into detail about the ceremony, I really really loved it and the tradition surrounding it. When I left, my friend hugged me and said how happy she was that I was there.
On the way to our final ranking, I was trying to decide what I should do. Though I know you are never, ever supposed to suicide, I was considering it. I knew if I accepted a bid from Snow, the whole time I would be thinking about Peeta, and I wanted to be able to give whichever sisterhood I was in my all. My main reason for thinking about this, however, was numbers. My recruitment group was over double the size of last years group, meaning many girls would be cut. So many girls loved Snow, and I would feel awful if I got a bid there, over a girl who really wanted to be there. Against my better judgment, I decided to only rank Peeta. I figured if I didn’t get a bid, I could always participate in informal recruitment. After I finished my ranking, I began to doubt my decision and could barley sleep that night.

Bid Day
Bid Day
On bid day, I woke up feeling awful. I had a sore throat, headache, and fever. I had to leave my first class early, so for the next two hours I was lying in dorm preparing for the call to let me know I had been dropped. Finally, my phone rang with my Rho Gamma’s text alert. I knew it… it was over. I read the text. And I read it again. And again. It said, “Don’t worry, you won’t be getting a call from me today.” I could hardly believe it… I was getting a bid!! I called just about everyone I knew, before I decided to go to the doctors to make sure I wasn’t contagious. After this, I went back to my dorm to get ready, then to go pick up my bid with some of my friends. It seemed like forever until I finally got my bid card, which read…
Peeta
AKA….
KAPPA KAPPA GAMMA!!!
Last night was one of the best nights of my life, and I absolutely love my sisters. All the sororities have their largest pledge classes in the history of my school. In fact, the number of pledges in all the houses is half the current members! However, because of so many girls going through recruitment, only half of the girls participating in recruitment girls got bids. I know how lucky I am that I not only got a bid, but to the house I loved from day one. As it turns out, 3 of my friends are my pledge sisters, and one of my Rho Gammas is also in Kappa! I’m so excited to begin my life as a Kappa and with my new sisters.
Also, I would like to thank everyone here on GC for all the advice they have given my (many) questions. Without you, I don’t think I would have been prepared at all! So thank you all very much and I’m sure I’ll stick around to continue reading all of your great advice ☺

Congrats on getting your choice! Kappa is absolutely wonderful everywhere I've been.
I'm sorry about your horrible start to pref. I would have been freaking out. Those guys were huge jerks to heckle you for being late.
Are you okay now? Was it just strep or something else?

Thank you KDCat!
Honestly, it was like a nightmare come true, especially when the transportation went the wong way. My friend jokingly said it was like Friday the 13th, but then I didn't think it was so funny.Looking back, I shouldn't have taken it personally but it was just all so overwhelming!
Also, I'm still pretty sick unfortunately. It's not strep, so hopefully it's just something viral. I'm on steroids for my throat though so hopefully I'll feel better by my first meeting! Thank you for asking!

I would have lost it. Completely and totally lost it. Good for you for getting it together enough for the parties.

Congratulations on KKG.
I think someone gave you some misinformation in regards to the large # of girls participating in recruitment vs. the amount of girls who received bids. There are only a couple-I believe 2- of campuses that we know of where girls may play be the rules, attend all the parties they have on their schedule every day, and still not end up with a bid. Ordinarily, quotas are determined after bid cards are signed after pref. parties, so that every PNM who signs a bid card has the best chance to receive a bid. Now girls on your campus may not have liked their choices through out the week and dropped, not liked their pref. choices and not signed their bid card, or single intentional preferenced(sip, aka suicided) one sorority and ended up with no bid, but it is unlikely that half of the PNMs that started recruitment at your college simply did not receive a bid due to the high volume of PNMs participating in recruitment.

Thank you everyone! Like I said, I absolutely love my sisters and couldnt be happier with where I ended up
FSUzeta- I (yet again haha) used the wrong word, I think! A good portion of girls I know dropped out of recruitment after the first day when their favorite house dropped them. What I really meant to say is that from the beginning of recruitment to the end, only half the girls ended up sticking through! Being so new to the process, I'm not sure what the correct terminology would be!
Low C Sharp- feel free to message me with my school name! I just didn't want the name out in the open
