Question about letters - Page 3

^^^I'm thinking the windbreakers. You don't see much of anything heavier with letters these days (even around here where it's cold.)

What I'm thinking is this is a pretty expensive tradition to keep floating around. What occurred to me is this Big keeps accepting Littles because the other sisters in the chapter are realistic and know they can't afford this tradition.

I would address this with your NME or an alum because this may well be a tradition that needs to die a quick but dignified death. Or you may have a flake for a big and she needs to be narced on. But regardless, it needs to go outside of your little threesome. There are times in your life when it is ok to be the princess, and the lead-up to your initiation is one of them.

So my big got my twin and I really fuzzy and soft throw blankets... that she hand sewed letters on

She said she didn't want to show up to Initiation empty handed and she's working on getting our jackets asap.

So it looks like my big is amazing after all and everything is going to work out!

December190, so glad your big was able to give you and your twin your first letters after all. I am not part of an NPC organization so even though I have a big, we don't always have them and it is really by chapter. What I was going to suggest was her making something for you which our chapter is very big on doing. The time, energy, and thought put into a gift that was made makes it even more special.
