Obama showed his birth certificate today. Kate and William get married in 2 days. What useless event will be covered on Saturday since nothing important like wars, earthquakes, storms, financial crisises are taking place.

The one issued today is an image of the original record. The other one issued previously is computer generated with the general facts of the birth, sans the fancy signatures. Usually the latter, if it contains the embossed seal of the Department of Health, is enough to prove one's citizenship and birth info (getting a passport, getting a driver's license, etc.). |

I'm confused, what would a lineage society require? What wasn't on it? And considering the newly released doc is essentially identical to the previous version in included information, why would the new document be better?

In the "olden days", a baptismal certificate (in some places) was considered on par with a birth certificate. This would have been even better if it was a baptismal certificate pretty much filled out in pencil on a random scrap of paper by ,by the presiding priest or whatever....

That's what Arizona was trying to include as valid identification of birth, baptismal and circumcision records as well as official ones. As you point out, there's little proof there.

I know this isn't "PC" and proper but at some point, I'd have to tell him to KMA (hence why I do not work in politics).

He allegedly makes George Bush look like a genius.
