I'm not finding these on their web site ...
I wasn't actually aware OPI was commercially available. I've only ever seen it at nail salons. But I've been very pleased with how well it holds up after a manicure.

According to most beauty blogs that reported on the collection, it will be available in March.

^^ My connection said that according to her professional beauty supplier, it will be out February 1st. They have all of the new colors and swatches locked up in an acrylic box until then.
Either way, it is weird that they aren't on the OPI site yet.

If you are looking to buy OPI or China Glaze for cheap, look online for a place called transdesign. OPI sells for like $3 a bottle there and China Glaze is usually cheaper than that. I have over 100 bottles of nail polish, most are OPI and China Glaze, and a lot of them came from that site. Shipping is quick and it doesn't cost a lot to ship. I usually pick up 10 bottles at a time from them.
No, I'm not a professional nail artist. I just really love nail polish!

Depending on which location you go to, one can find OPI at CVS and Duane Reade--even the new colors!
I was at Nordstrom Rack this past weekend and they had the Nicki Minaj colors on sale, which was funny because they just came out.

I just got my first gel manicure about a week ago. So far, I love it! My nail tech uses gelish. I just wish she had more colors to choose from in the gel polish selection. Many of the polishes were very dark and vampy. Think black, blue, purple, dark red. I'm more of a beige/baby pink fan.

Have any of you ever tried Sensationail by Nailene? Yes, it's El Cheapo brand, but I want to try a DIY gel/UV manicure and the reviews for this product are, surprisingly, better than most. So, what say you? Have you used it? Did/do you like it?

So, I tried Sensationail. It does indeed last two weeks - I was impressed. The application process was pretty easy and the polish stayed shiny and chip-free.
I'm not impressed, however, with the removal process or the current state of my nails. I've never done the gel/UV thing - is it common for your nails to be rough upon removal or is this just a 'you get what you pay for' moment?

No, your nails are rough after you take off a gel manicure. There is no good way to take them off. I removed a gel manicure 2 weeks ago and my nails don't look so hot.

I'm loving the new Revlon ColorStay nail polish! I painted my nails on Thursday night. Hand washed a week's worth of dishes on Sunday night (as in hands in hot, sudsy water scrubbing for 30 mins) and just one teeny tiny chip on my thumb nail. It's hardly noticeable.
Most nail polishes (even OPI) don't stand up to my dish washing routine. Considering I don't have a dishwasher....

I'm a huge OPI (and to a lesser extent, Essie) fan. I think OPI and Essie both have great colors and last-ability, but I think the thicker OPI brush is so much easier to paint nails.
I have a whole system when I do my nails (which is pretty often):
-Cuticle Remover (Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover)
-Push back cuticles with cuticle stick and wash hands
-First coat of OPI Nail Envy
-Two coats of OPI or Essie polish
-Top coat of Seche Vite dry fast top coat... the MOST. AMAZING. TOP COAT. EVER. Dries quickly and with a super shiny finish. Seriously, you can do almost anything within 20 minutes of applying this top coat without smudging your nails. Amazing!
Current OPI color obsessions:

OPI I Brake for Manicures

OPI Ski Teal We Drop

OPI Honk if You Love OPI

OPI French Quarter for Your Thoughts (Super similar to Essie's Chinchilly)

Get some fun dish washing gloves to protect your manicure and also from soap drying out your hands. I'm kind of Howard Hughes/Joan Crawford about some of my cleaning since I have cats, and I have different gloves for each task: dishes, bathroom cleaning, household cleaning, kitchen cleaning, cats (I scrub out their litter boxes) and write the chore inside the cuff. My local Wal-Mart has pairs with patterned cuffs for under $3 as does Ross. I broke in a new pair this weekend cleaning the inside of my dishwasher and I looked quite glamorous removing the rust, hard water deposits, and gross stuff I don't want to really know about.
Are there any brands y'all see or use that are without formaldehyde, other than OPI? Since I live in a small rural area I'm limited, but if I knew what brands to look for I can use the internet for orders. I'm also avoiding toluene, but with a good base coat it may be tolerated, but formaldehyde is a deal breaker.

I mentioned this one before, but Butter London is without formaldehyde and it is AMAZING. They sell it at Ulta if you have one of those anywhere close by...?
