There were always tensions with particular chapters but only during rush...we'd steal some of their favorites, but lose some of our favorites to them year after year. There was also one particular house where there was just bad blood between a lot of members for various reasons, no fights or anything but there was clear tension. Overall we got along with the majority of the houses though.

There's rivalry war between Alpha Phi Gama and Sigma Kappa, i think most recently Kappa pizza bombed the leaders of phiG. Pizza bombing is when you get an address and send a lot of pizza delivery companies to it. They're also posting each others personal information online, I think both have gone too far with whatever this is. If I'm not mistaken this is taking place in sin city Las Vegas. Figures right?

Intention was to feed the topic but remain slightly vague Drolefille. The situation is not something I want to go into great details about because it will just open up into further issues; however, if you'd rather not debate or gripe about the topic I brought up that's fine too. Sigma Kappa doesn't go by "Kappa" anywhere. You're either a liar, or an idiot, and trying to stir shit that isn't even yours to stir. Amusing in particular following your attempt at snark in another thread. Lets see, odds are you're non-NPC, and probably an aspirant to some org or other but not a member.

That's how it is in a particular school that I gladfully don't go to.

But I'd say this. It's never that deep to me, but I do have an issue with how some fraternities carry themselves around here. That's why I patiently wait for grad chapter

At my sons' school, there are definitely rivalries between the fraternities, and it is really because they tend to go for the same type pledges - so what I find ridiculous is that they disparage each other brutally, but if they looked in the mirror, they'd see the spitting image of what they're saying are "lame, meatheads, jerks, etc."

Why can't they all get along?

Phi Gam's & Sigma Chi's have a friendly rivalry but only cuz we go after the same guys. We're all still cool with each other. I'd say our most kinda heated rivalry is between ATO.

@OT: Who doesn't have rivalries? :P The big one is probably between us and the Betas, academically and recruitment-wise (and the whole "Miami rivals" thing, of course). We still get along decently well with everyone, though... can't really remember the last time there was a major interfraternal dispute on campus.
