References are typically sent to the chapter Reference Chair. I assume they are still directing them to HQ b/c Gamma Omega has not elected officers just yet.

That is correct! Since Auburn has a Fall formal recruitment references will need to be directed to headquarters. They will submit it to the ELCs assisting Gamma Omega. They may update it with a local address, but the ELCs will assist until formal officers are elected.
This is all assuming that they will use the same procedure that they did when my chapter was colonized, but it should be similar.

In looking at the website, is it customary that Recs be sent to international headquarters, or is that a leftover from colonization?

Thanks, when I saw one of the pictures had an Auburn sweatshirt, I assumed they had all been updated. I will check out the others on FB.

In all the myriad theta pages on facebook, I was unable to find the site you were talking about, but I did find the Panhellenic site with a picture of bid day.
