Soror, go directly ==>> to your nearest HBCU or single letter chapter. These chapters tend to have the longest and richest traditions.

I agree, I learned and witnessed a lot at Grambling. All of the D4's were singing and it was nice to hear. I remember feeling envious because I thought those ladies were so lucky to be part of something like that.

Me too. I observed that freshman year when I went to TU. I went to TU Homecoming it was sooooo nice! I wish we had those type of traditions at my chapter.

You just reminded me of the football games. All of the singing and carrying on, who watched the game? I was cheerleading so from my vantage point, I could see people having a great time just being in each others company. While they (mainly the greeks) were singing or chanting, there was a camaraderie that was really nice to see even as an outsider @ the time.

^^^ I liked that too.
(But did you peep the historical inaccuracy at the very beginning? I'm sure she was just nervous.)

I can't view it because I'm not a facebooker.
What's the 1910 in reference to? Did a Delta say it? *gasp*

The AKA at the beginning said "In 1910, seven sophomores were inducted, also recognized as founders."
ETA: In retrospect, maybe she was thinking that they were in the class of 1910.
