Nope, his tat is real... although, I thought tats on the face were illegal... but nevertheless, just thought I'd throw that out there.

I liked it too... It was stereotypical, but not TOO extreme (although the whole blackmailing @ the end thing was a bit much...)
I liked how the brothers of that fraternity helped out the new guy to hand in his test, and how they did the whole "school comes first" thing. It was corny, but at least it was somewhat on the side of Greek life.

I really liked tonight's episode. I liked how the Kappa Tau guys pulled together to help Rusty hand his test in and the little "awwww" moment in the end between Casey and Rusty. Although if I were Casey, I definitely wouldn't have been quite so classy about the text message and probably would have sent it to the press or Rebecca's father.

I loved this past episode. It was amazing and I can't wait for next weeks. I have to agree with you about Cappie helping out with the brothers. That was awesome. I am so glad that they are making this show. I really think that it will be a big hit and help some people become interested in becomming Greek. I hope that it helps us out on my campus, because being Greek here isn't really respected as it is on some campuses.

I was rolling with laughter during the Spartan/"Intro to 300" speech.
And those Omega pledge manuals were the biggest pledge manuals I've ever seen.
Interesting sidenote: I had to turn on closed captioning for part of the show because of a phone call. Everytime anyone on the show said "Omega Chi," the geniuses doing the CC typed "OMEGA KAI." (I did consider for a moment that it might be a Beta having a bit of fun.)

I noticed that at well, but I didn't wanna seem like a nerd. What's up with these caption people??!! I guess they didn't want people to think Omega Chee or Key when they saw Chi?

My stupid DVR didn't tape it this week and it's yet to be posted on abcfamily.com ... waiting is no fun.

It's up now. My sister, her bf and I watched it this morning!
I think it's a cute show. A little heavy on the hazing, but overall it's good. I'm wondering if Cappie would treat Rusty like that if he wasn't that girl's brother.

Why would face tattoos be illegal?

Oh noez! The moral police will put you in jail for face tattoos!
In some cultures, facial tattoos are a sacred thing. I know Polynesian groups often tattoo designs relating to their family and lineage on their faces. Not sure if that's the case with Umaga, but still.

my roommate (a sister) and I watched it last night (god bless dvr) and we were cracking up to the Spartan intro. It was frickin funny, plus the bible versus. LOL.
we did have our "aww" moment with Casey and Rusty at the end of the episode and frankly, Rebecca needs to go away. What's sad is that I could totally see some sorority president behaving that way, all about the "senator's daughter" and pretty much allowing that girl to run rough shot just so the house get's to keep her.
And since when to pledges get to boss actives around. What was that about?

FWIW, I don't think Umaga has real face tattoos, as they seem to change from week to week. When he was first on RAW and then TNA, he didn't have the tattoos, so unless he had a sudden surge of sprituality or family pride, they're either fake or just for "character".
And one again, we're discussing Drolle's face tattoo fetish.
