I'll agree that he works hard and can be practical (when it suits him). But he has pretty much zero skill in working with others, and he doesn't seem to recognize when he's showing backbone and when he's shooting himself in the foot.

I agree that Theresa the Incompetent probably failed to nail down the electricity responsibility, and I also agree that Bryce needed to chill in a major way. But Lenny's attitude not only showed a complete lack of appreciation for his team's interests (something that usually doesn't play well in the boardroom), it showed a complete lack of appreciation for his own self-interest. If something like that happens, someone who actually wants to come off looking good -- someone who is seeing the goal at the end of the "interview" -- would as calmly as possible explain to Theresa that she failed to inform him that she was expecting him to take care of that problem, and then he should have taken care of it. Then he can say "even when dealing with Theresa the Incompetent, I make sure the work gets done." Walking away and declaring "that's not my problem" is not the way to impress a future employer.

I'll give him a little slack for raising objection to the Rosh Hashana issue once, but only once. I'll also assume he wasn't paying attention in earlier seasons, such as when Jen C. pretty much got fired for her attitude, including religious insensitivity, or when Trump encouraged Randall to miss a task to go his grandmother's funeral. (Yes, I know the funeral's a once in a lifetime matter rather than a once a year matter, but it still telegraphed that Trump accepts that some obligations trump work sometimes.) Shoot, last season, he even seemed to be willing to cut worthless Toral some slack if it hadn't been clear that she was just making excuses -- I think what he said was that he believed it was important to respect other people's religious beliefs. But even if he wasn't paying attention then, he should have paid attention when Trump said "that's life, deal with it." It's not in his best interest to give Trump an opportunity to tell him that again, yet that's what he did. He should have let it go. He shouldn't have let his own disagreement with the situation get in the way of completing the task or get in the way of his goal of winning a job by showing his potential employer he couldn't deal with it and move on.

I guess I can see your point, but I think his awesomeness is mainly in his ego. An awesome eqo is a good trait if you want the kind of job he wants, but only if it's balanced with awesome common sense and awesome perspective -- two things he seems to have at least some of when it comes to the tasks but not when it comes to his own self-interest or to the ultimate goal. That's why I think he's more of a rock that drags everyone down.

I have to say I'm very glad that Brent was fired.

His attitude really sucked tonight on the show. Yes, their strategy of not having him to anything of importance was kind of lame (and might have backfired on them) but he is/was impossible. I couldn't believe that he was accusing Tammy of not letting him be the spokesperson because he is fat? I mean, I can't quote her, but I don't recall her at any point saying "your fat, you can't do this". I do recall her saying that he wanted to go in the direction of weight loss and that isn't the direction they were going in. Makes sense to me.

If Brent hadn't opened his mouth and completely attacked Tammy the way he did, I don't think he would have been fired. I think it would have been Andrea (for the graphics) or Sean (for being longwinded). But he opened his mouth and the team "fought back".

I definately agree with what Trump said, that their team will probably run much smoother now that Brent is gone.

I can really see Allie being one of the final two.

My DVR clearly failed me tonight, but I'll catch it on CNBC this week.

I was starting to think Brent was a Trump mole or something... I can't understand how someone can be THAT outrageous. The idiot couldn't even comb his hair and try to present himself well

I think Brent had a rug. Maybe that is why Trump kept him around.

They got to go to Brinks and look at loose diamonds. They then got to pick out one (up to $30,000). Can you imagine the rock you could pick out!?!?

I really wish Tarek was the one fired. He is really starting to grate on my nerves.

Brianna was really excited to see Bill in tonights episode.

Tarek got on my nerves on the first episode, when he was bragging about benig a Mensa member. That's why Donald is always ragging on his Mensa membership. LOL... the thing is, a lot of Mensa members are better individually than with a team..

During the diamond selection, Allie made me laugh, "Oh yes, size DOES matter!" ROFL!

I so knew Bryce would be fired as soon as he decided to bring Lee into the boardroom.

And I am still on the Sean love train. ohhhh, that voice.

Carolyn pretty much had it pegged -- "why don't you just go ahead and say 'fire me'?"

I was rolling at the end, though, when Bryce said, "It wouldn’t hurt Trump to listen once in a while."

I was yelling at the TV last night because I was going to be SO PISSED if he fired Lenny my love. Oh man.

Frankly, I thought Lee should go because that's twice he's skipped out on a task and no matter the reason, that's really crappy for your team -- but that wasn't going to happen in a million years. I don't like Bryce, but he did a really good job managing the team. He should've brought back the lyric writers who missed the point.

I wish they'd get rid of the reward footage -- the rewards are almost always stupid and I'd rather see more of the actual task and/or boardroom. I'd also like to see more tasks that aren't marketing/advertising.
