If the sub-forum contained stories about life after AI, I would support it. For example, how an AI struggled to learn fraternity education, how an AI feels when around regularly-initiated sisters, highs and lows since going through the process, etc. However, it seems that the only threads that anybody posts to are the "I am trying to AI" stories. These trouble me greatly. I don't really want a ZTA (or any GLO) alumna encouraging a freakshow to proceed with AI into my fraternity.

After much thought, I'm con. I just don't see any good happening here anymore.

Although I frequently read GC, I rarely post anymore but I feel so strongly about this that I'm compelled to post.

I've gotta go con. Unless it's like the threads that irishpipes proposed-- life-after-AI topics.

Although I think there should be a forum for alumnae initiates, just not under the recruitment heading -- maybe under alumnae involvement. Also it should be made clear that it is NOT a place to solicit recommendations or information about AI-ing.

That's funny because it used to be in the Alumnae Involvement forum

For many years, the Alumnae Initiation sub-forum was in the Alumni Involvement forum. After lots of debate, it was moved over to its present location because the moderating here is better, and it made sense to have moderators who are part of NPC sororities -- as opposed to two male moderators whose only experience with AI is via GC.

So no, unless John decides to add a moderator to balance out the current situation; it should not be moved back to the Alumni Involvement forum.

I think we should keep the forum because it is fun to read. I don't think it is educational (it won't really help anyone in their pursuit) but it's facinating.
