I do think it's fun to see what the different houses & lodges look like.

Was that in the Tift house?? Have you seen the new Psi Gamma house? I wish I knew how to upload a picture onto here, I have one saved on my computer or there is one in the Psi Gamma album on Chi O Hooties. . .

Yes, the Tift House was the old Panhellenic House at Mercer (prior to MUCH restoration!) The Psi Gamma suite was upstairs on the right. ADPi was downstairs on the left, Phi Mu was directly below us & Alpha Gam was upstairs on the left. In 1982, we moved into former faculty housing on Adams St. and later expanded that house the next year. I attended the groundbreaking for the new house, but have not seen the finished product.

I have seen lots of pictures of the Adams St. house but the seniors who graduated in 2003 were the last class of Psi Gammas to use it. Any time that you pass through Macon you need to stop by for a tour!

OK, I'm posting from home and it's a PC. I'm going to try the right click properties thing and hopefully it works...
ETA: OK, it's not. I have the image in my Yahoo photo folder - which I guess has restricted access? I tried to copy the code at the top of the properties box - that didn't work. I copied the http:address in the properties box and that linked to the restriced Yahoo folder. And I made the folder public. I'm so confused....

OMG - I finally made it work! That was my home for 2 years (Pi Zeta, Western Mich. Univ.) !!!! As I said before, it goes back pretty far and housed 42 girls - plus a finished basement and a loft/study are on the second floor.
And this is the formal living room. It's been painted pale yellow and the trim stayed white and they have this beautiful new furniture in shades of red and yellow!

Houses are so cool!
I liked the drama freeness of not having a house, but it would be sooo nice to have even a little one or a suite! We currently have no space to call our own, and it makes it tough to store stuff. Also, ever meeting or event we have needs to find a new locale. It;s not too hard, but a meeting room or a small logde would be ideal!

I'm sooo Jealous!!!
Nu Theta does not have any lodging to speak of right now.... You see...The town of West Liberty, WV has an old law on the books that states that "Any domicile wherein eight (8) or more unrelated, unmarried females reside constituites a brothel and is illegal and will be dealt with as such".
Ridiculous, I know. We are going to have a floor next year (Krice Hall, 4th floor).

Pardon the interruption
Eta Beta at Iowa State University. It's such a pretty house, inside and out.
