My platform, Overcoming Disabilities and Differences through Self-Esteem (ODDS), was created to help children with birth defects gain the self-esteem needed to deal with the obstacles they may encounter as a result of the defect. As an advocate of O.D.D.S., I help children with birth defects learn to believe that “I’m OK” and “I can.”

I don't think any of the comments OleMissKD has made about her lack of a hand fall in line with any of those statements. So it's either proving that pageants and their platforms are a crock, or that she isn't who she says she is.
