High School:
Favorite - Spanish or French
Least Favorite - AP Bio was pretty rough, but I liked the teacher a lot
College:
Favorite - Environmental Justice. This prof was my academic advisor and brand new to the school. She challenged us and made her class very interesting. I still got an A- even though it was pretty hard.
Least Favorite - Phonology! It's the reason I changed my major. I took it twice and couldn't get it.

So I was reflecting on this subject the other day, and realized I must revise this lol.
High School
Favorite: Calculus
Least Favorite: Physics (or IPC which I took freshman year)
College
Favorite: Law of Mass Comm and TV Production/Direction
Least Favorite: Calculus 2 & American Fiction (because of the profs)
I was gonna add Intro to Religious Studies to the 'least favorite' list but I realized that after having several in-class arguments w/the prof (who was also a local pastor) and realizing how much of a complete buffoon he was, that I knew A LOT more about the subject than him. All the defending of my beliefs helped me strengthen my faith.
And really, as a pastor of a local church I expected MUCH MUCH more than what he did. Really? I understands all the sects have slightly different views on things, but when you can't even get down the most basic beliefs, how can you call yourself a pastor?

Loved:
American English
Linguistics
Oral History
Journalism
Hated:
Latin American History
French 3
Oceanography (why on earth did I even take that?!)
I can't even remember the name of a history class that involved a specific computer program, but was nasty.

I think that goes for everybody. Though my prof was really nice, she expected us all to hate it. She purposely made class fun so we'd forget we were being tortured. It worked (sometimes).

My dad told me he hated the first class he took on real estate appraisal, but he has been a commercial real estate appraiser for 25+ years. He said that was the WORST class he took in college but the subject appealed to him.

My least favorite subject in highschool and college both were English and writing courses.
My favorite subject was Physics/biology/zoology. The biology in highschool and college was fun, but the physics in highschool and part of college was dumb, basic, and very boring. It's just that they had us doing dumb, boring things like finding out how much force a one pound rocket exterts on a sled or something to make it go if it were travelling over ice at one foot per second or something dumb, and basic like that.

Not true for me! I loved statistics. It was a) a break from reading and b) the only class when you knew when your homework was done.
Here are mine:
Highschool
Faves: Spanish (same teacher for four years, he was great), Biology 2 (loved the fruit flies/genetics stuff), 10th grade English (lit)
Least faves: Calculus (I had to work at something for the first time in my life and sucked!), Civics (it was the only class I had that didn't have a college prep option and I was totally shocked by the slackers that existed in my high school who I never had to share space with before)
College
Faves: Creative Writing, most of my two years of OT classes, including Neuroanatomy, Lit of Fiction, Lit of Poetry
Least faves: Golf (I cannot HIT that darn ball!), Gross Anatomy (cried every day after lab .. could not depersonalize the cadavre like most could)
Grad school round one (Clinical Psych)
Faves: Statistics, Abnormal Psych, Clinical Psychotherapy
Least Faves: Personality Development (wasn't the content, it was the prof.. had 7 text books for that class including original writings by Freud, Erickson, Maslow, etc.. and he tested on footnotes and stats from charts and tables.. ugh)
Grad school round two (Information Assurance)
Faves: Perimeter Security
I'm only on my second class. I don't think last term's class was a least favorite really! I may change my mind later.

High school:
Favorites: AP History, AP Government, Creative Writing
Least Favorites: AP Chemistry and AP Physics
College:
Favorites: History of the US Presidency (taught by Robert Dallek, well-known Presidential historian), Media Law & Ethics, and History: 1968-Present
Least Favorites: Sociology (I'm just not that interested in the subject), Astronomy (which I took for my lab science requirement)
I didn't really have a class I disliked in law school.

High School:
Favorites: Band; Geometry; a class whose official name escapes me, but covered legal stuff (we had a mock trial at the end of the year). The teacher of that last class was a retired judge; he was awesome.
Least Favorite: Chemistry II
College:
Favorites: Metaphysics; Chamber Singers; Logic
Least Favorites: Chemistry (I think there's a trend there); Psychology
Grad School:
Favorites: Symbolic Logic; Ethical Theory
Least Favorite: Environmental Ethics

High School
Favorites:
ROTC (Aerospace Science/Leadership Laboratory)
Phys Ed
Black Studies
Jobs for America's Graduates

Science (Gen Sci./Biology/Chemistry). I passed on taking Physics my senior year, though when I took it in college, I actually liked it a lot.
Algebra (though I actually liked Geometry & Trigonometry)
Advanced US History
College (undergrad)
Favorites:
Accounting Principles (1st accounting class)
World Economic Geography
Principles of Microeconomics

Least Favorites:
College Algebra (had a terrible teacher who flunked me; I retook it with another professor and breezed through it).
Precalculus (had another lousy teacher who got impatient with me for not being able to understand the concepts).
Engineering Graphics I (lectures were boring, thought I actually loved the CAD labs--the day I was initiated into APO, I spent 6 hours in the lab trying to meet a lab deadline, though I had a great time doing it).
Graduate School

International Business
