Volgirl, im thinking one the lines of reduction too, I just hate that it cost so much unless you claim its a medical strain. But first, I want to see if I can shrink em by exercising more than I am, and so far i think its kind of working !

There isa body fat component to breast size . . . so getting a lower percentage of body fat than low average will see serioius breast reduction.

been there done that - I understand what you are saying James about exercise - but mine are...well they look like implants although they arent.

I would suggest talking to women who have done it. I have heard great things and not so great things. My concern would be shelf life. Do they last forever or is there implant upkeep?

There are so many plastic surgens go have a consultation.

there are so many little things I want to respond to...

1st: I agree that getting implants won't help your self-esteem much. You have to realize that you are great person for who you are first. Talk to your sisters and friends, they'll shower you with all kinds of positive things that will help turn your perspective around.

2cd: I will have to join volgirl & UMgirl with the porno-sized boobs .. and I hate them... I always have. Clothes and even bra shopping can be such a pain, because it's rare to find something made with the chest in mind (so you're either busting out at the chest, or the shirt is too big everywhere but the chest). And there just aren't many cute bras in size D. Even at Victoria's Secret. Then you get into the whole running thing, etc. They're just inconvienent. I, too, have been considering a reduction. But I am also resuming working out, so hopefully that will shrink them down a little at least. (*my fingers are crossed*) The cost is the only deterrent.

Finally, James (I think) mentioned that his favorite size is 36C. I very recently read a study that said that was the ideal breast size...MEANING: People, men and women, respect women with 36C size breasts more than any other size. They are taken more seriously, sometimes even succeed further in work, etc.! If I can remember where I read it, I'll post it. But it was an actual academic study. So, if you are 36C, consider yourself a little more lucky today!

I know for a fact that if you are unhappy with them you probably always will be....but don't be unhappy with them because of how you think guys react. If you truly hate them because YOU don't like how they are, that's fine.

I have hated my breasts since they sprouted. They are plenty big, but from the moment they began to bud my mom gave me this apologetic sigh and said "Oh honey, looks like you got the family droopy-boobs!" I have never been perky, even when I was 15 and weighed 100 pounds. And having two children has only made it worse. Like I said, I am plenty big but I want to change the shape of them and I am afraid that having a lift would leave me with hideous scars above my breasts. So I figure small implants is the only way to go. Brent isn't super enthusiastic about it but if it will make me feel better about myself he is supportive. He also would like to see me in tighter, more revealing shirts!!!!! So I don't know, it has bothered me for 17 or 18 years now and hasn't gotten any better.

Her posture started to become significantly worse because of the stress it put on her back and shoulders. She got them reduced is now a 36C and much, much happier.
Lana, if a guy won't date you because you're chest isn't big enough then he sucks! That's so middle school. I remember in middle school when I had a huge crush on Danny Cain. I was about 11 years old and no where near even filling out an A cup (but...I was 11 years old...give me a break!) He actually told me that he wouldn't date me because my boobs weren't big enough. I cried and cried and cried. He went to another High School then I did. I heard through the rumor mill that he was made fun of at his school for being a whoppin' two inches! I laughed and laughed and laughed.
Got a little off track there.....
But, like I said, if a guy won't date you because of your chest size than that is just plain old immature. Many guys I have talked to are actually more interested in other parts of a woman's body that tend to be easier to grow and shrink through some exercise such as legs, thighs, arms, and especially the butt. Don't do something that drastic to your body if you're not 100% sure. You may end up regretting it.

To whomever thought i was a 36 C i'm not. i am not i am only an A cup. I would be estatic if i was 36 C though. Look to my Friends(sisters) to shower me with support? i honestly don't have any other friends bc i live in the house and my life is sorority and work. I am getting involved in other campus activiites. My sorority hardly gets along. One sister has an eating disorder so some other sisters decorated the doors and cut out sayings and put names next to sayings that reminded them of girls. Next to the girl who is bulimic they put vomit. next to another sister they put never without pot. Luckily the house director made them take it down. I don't deactive bc i have put to much time into my house and too much MONEY. Can i say it is worth it? NO I can't. I'm sorry and for any non greeks there are a lot of strong sisterhoods out there especially chapters of my house. My chapter isn't strong and we are working on it but considering all the girls hate eachother....
