I know this is two years old, but the reason ZTA picked up so many chapter in 1964 is because you absorbed Beta Sigma Omicron (I think that was their name). It was a small national.

The Zeta Omicron chapter at Arkansas State University will be recolonized in Fall, 2011. Best wishes.

Zeta Alpha at the University of Evansville is currently active. I'm also proud to report that they won a National Council Recognition silver award at the National Convention this summer in New Orleans, LA.

excuse the crash, but I have a question for you ladies...
looking over your chapter list, I noticed a few chapter designations missing after reading about the Epsilon designations missing I wonder if the following explanation is the same for the following:
Theta Rho
Iota Beta
Iota Kappa
Kappa Epsilon
I hope you ladies can help me!

i don't know, ms. gwyn. as i am sure you know, our chapters are named in alpha order, with only a few exceptions. i will look in some of my books and see if there is any explanation.
