Actually, this is not true. I attended a few AOII Founders' Days in the Detroit area that were in April! Sometimes having the event closer to the actual day is not possible.

Alpha Delta Pi's Founder's Day is May 15th. But since many chapters are already out of school by then, those chapters may celebrate on their chapter's founding day. Yet, the Alumnae Associations still celebrate in May.
But this is definitely not ADPi, from other things posted.

I do not know who MJ is pursuing, but FWIW I know of at least AOII Founders Day celebration in May. It just works out best for this chapter and their area alumnae.
Regardless, hope you have a great time MJ and please keep us posted whenever you can!

By the way, I know it's not us, because I wasn't allowed to go to a DG Founder's Day as a PNAM, because there is ritual involved.

You can go but you have to leave before the ritual. This is what we've always done.

Definitely check with your hostess. I would recommend a nice pantsuit or dress...something you could wear for a business dinner that looks nice.
Good luck!

I had a blast! I ate lunch today with 2 ladies of the organization (the #8 Monte Carlo car..) I am persuing . We sat and talked in the restaurant for a good 2 hours. They had such fabulous stories about not only their lives outside of the organization, but stories from their collegiate/alumnae days too. I could really tell how much they loved their GLO and how much it ment to them. I hope they had as much fun as I did! This organization is number one for me right now..just amazing
