Grover was my favorite so anything he sang was cool.

Didn't he have a song about being near and far?

And remember when the owl with the jazz club had a show and they sang Birdland? Or was that in a movie?

It's been a while obviously. I can't remember anything.

But "Follow that Bird" was my absolute fav movie when I was a kid.

OMG I LOVED THAT MOVIE!!!

I cried when he was stuck in the cage at the circus, and singing that song about being blue.

And my favorite joke as a kid came from that movie-

My friend was obsessed with Elmo so she had all of the Elmo tapes... oh yeah we were in high school by the way. My fave, that I also heard at "123 Sesame Street Live" is "Imagination" and "La la la la, la la la la, Elmo's Song".

First of all, i LOVE all the songs that have already been posted! I will add the calypso version of the Rubber Duckie song. The chorus was something like:

If you read the book Sesame Street Unpaved, you'll see that there is a German techno version of "Rubber Duckie," sung by Ernie on the German version of Sesame Street and remixed by someone. It was actually a gigantic hit in Germany. I have a copy of it on my computer...it's very interesting, to say the least.

Okay somehow I am sure this will count. I got a German Techno Verson of Rubber Ducky on my computer (and a CD I made) so thats one...the second I have on my computer (and a CD I made) is Pride (havent seen the episode would be drooling if I did) but it was when my Goo Goo Dolls where on and singing with Elmo and it was to the tune of Slide.

I have to go with "The Peanut Song" (probably not the exact title) from Sesame Street Gold:

You shan't have any of mine

Till his peanuts are gone

I also enjoyed the 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12 song, especially the part where the chef announces, "9 chocolate cakes!" and then wipes out down the steps. Hopefully he didn't hurt himself.
