DTD Alum's list is making me a little jealous.

I received a beautiful watch - I don't usually like jewelry or "things" on my body. but I've decided to grow up and make an exception for the watch. Other notable gifts were a beautiful tie and a tea mug that is almost as large as my head!

I made out pretty well this year:

-Hat and gloves
-DVD/VCR player so my mom can give me all my childhood VHS tapes out of the garage
-Grey's Anatomy Season 6!!
-lots of cute t-shirts and a purple hoodie from my fave Christian store (they'd shut down and I didn't know they just re-opened!)
-a necklace from Galilee with my name in Hebrew
-candy
-a pashmere scarf
-a fluffy blue robe
-a black velveteen snuggie (I actually like it! Who knew?)
-several pairs of cute socks
-a mug
-an Antoine Dodson button
-a zombie button
-a new calendar with cute black art
-some black art magnets for my fridge
-$100 check + another $50 for my birthday that passed

And......

MY WICKED GLITTER GLOBE!!!

I was soooo bummed out when I found out the glitter globes had been discontinued for more than a year but we found this one online and my mom bought it for me! This thing is gorgeous with some awesome detailing and a music box in it that plays "For Good." I heart my mother.

lol I built one set right after I opened it.

idk when I'm going to build this bigger one... it's one of the sets that you can build into 3 different buildings.

4 of my favorite gifts:

A dagger necklace (a KD symbol for those who do not know) and YSL perfume from the boyfriend.

A kindle from the parents, which I am obsessed with! I cannot put it down.

A trip to Multnomah falls for the boyfriend and me. It includes gas money, a gift certificate to the restaurant and cameras. Soooo excited! It is so pretty there and we will most likely go later in the year when it is nicer out.

Just bought myself clothes from a local boutique plus my favorite perfume (Philosophy Inner Grace) with Christmas money...which technically makes them Christmas gifts.

From my parents:

- A peacock print shawl from the Met
- Two ties for DH
- Chanel No.5 perfume (and we'll just quietly ignore the fact that my signature perfume is Cinnabar while my mother's perfume is Chanel No.5)
- A Scottish cookbook

From my in-laws:

- two bottles of wine (of less than stellar quality)

From me to my parents:

- a slow cooker (which they have been wanting)
- a bottle of Johnnie Walker Green Label (which they did NOT open while we were down there - bristle!)

From us to my in-laws:

- a gift set of Drambuie

I got a Coach gift card in the mail today from my dad.

I seriously can't wait to use it.

Many glorious books that I found on Amazon
2 T-shirts: one that said "proud Abuelita", the other was Day of the Dead
a big ole outdoor grill
cool Japanese and Filipino items from our exchange students

What a wonderful Christmas with all the kids and sons-in-law and grandbabies, complete with snow!

And I finally jacked Baby Berry's Facebook, something that many have aspired to do but few have achieved.

The ones I got that I'm most excited about:

-a new, red backpack that I've wanted all year
-a pair of very nice headphones (funny how studying speech and hearing science totally scares you away from earbuds)
-a couple of pairs of warm, flannel jammy pants

Ones I gave that were my favorites:

-Sephora blockbuster
-Mark Twain's autobiography
-really nice body butters in lovely scents

It was nice to see people so happy!

GAH. Want.

That's my kind of bag (I'm partial to all leather or leather and suede as opposed to signature.)

I had a blessed Christmas. I just hate that my brother and my sister aren't here. I got some really nice gifts, though.

mom and dad
Money, two suits, shirts, neckties, and braces. Shoes from my favorite shoe store--Johnston and Murphy. I got a couple of bowties, too. They also got me a few sweaters that would go really well with some of the bowties I have at home.

My brother and my sister in law are just getting back from Mississippi so I just sent their gift to them, and they're sending mine to me later.

sister
Two Frankin Mint models: a 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T 426 Hemi and Steve McQueen's Bullitt 1968 Mustang GT-LE

lady friend
PS3 and an Ipod Classic. The Ipod classic was actually for my birthday, but I didn't think opening it 3 days early would hurt anything.
