I do believe that was the 40th Conclave held in the wonderful state I call home Indiana and for added info the theme was " The Teke Pace"

While the 40th TKE Conclave indeed was held in French Lick,
Indiana, please be aware that the 22nd Conclave of T K E was
also held in French Lick, at the French Lick Springs Hotel,
Sep 7-9,1939. I was only three at the time so did not attend.

TKE is still handily #1 in number of active chapters. Sig Ep is
#2, but we are reactivating more and faster, and will outdistance
our worthy comrades increasingly.
But, while we want to keep that lead, let us enhance it by growing in chapter size and reactivations.
We likely have the most living alumni of any fraternity, or if not, we will soon. Inevitable.
There are several things TKE is not first in...but number of active
chapters is not one of them...not even close.
