Sorry this is sooooo late, but I have been MIA for a while. WOW!!! It was like you were already in a sorority of your own with your AI journey, etc., etc. Or like the Susan Lucci of AI...you just kept waiting and it finally presented itself (not 19 years tho like Susan to win her Emmy

Hello, friends. It is hard to believe that fifteen years have passed since my initiation into Alpha Sigma Alpha (and the end of this thread). Last week, I checked off the number one thing on my sorority bucket list: I attended my first national convention.

It was everything I hoped it would be. After 15 years of volunteering and participating in my alumnae chapter, I have made many connections and friendships. For some of those people, this was the first time we met in person after working together for years!
Spending five days with some of the most intelligent, creative, and dedicated women I have ever met reinforced all the reasons I was so excited and honored to be initiated into this organization.

I was moved to tears as I watched a daughter pin her mother as a new alumna initiate at convention. I even got to sit with them at dinner that night and talk about the many ways they both can make the most of their membership.

To this day, the honor of being included as a sister of ASA is not lost on me. I don't take my membership for granted! I feel like I am truly living it "to its ultimate good."

What a lovely memory you've made!! I just got home from my 7th Alpha Gam convention. I love it so much. Where is your next convention going to be and are you planning to go?? Ours in 2024 will be in Atlanta and I'm already planning!!
